(Will above ^^)
I screamed as I clung onto Moon's sweater, I couldn't look down. I dare not to. It was already worse enough with Moon doing massive dives and loops in the air. I was on her back, my arms and legs wrapped around her tightly, I shut my eyes tightly and listened to the sound of her massive bat wings flapping in the wind, and feel the cold air hit my face and run through my hair as she flew.
I heard a small chuckle from Moon, "How are you feeling?" She asked once she slowed down her pace, gliding in the air.
"S-sick," I stuttered, "Also I thought you said that we weren't gonna attract too much attention," I huffed at her.
"We aren't. We're high in the sky." She pointed out as if I already didn't know. "Also you might wanna loosen your grip a bit, I feel like my collar bone is about to snap."
"Oh, sorry-" I loosened my grip, but when I do, she dived suddenly. "MOON WHAT THE HELL-" I screamed at the top of my lungs, only to receive a laugh from Moon. I try to tighten my grin, but she made a sharp turn, causing me to lose my grip on her entirely. I screamed, flailing my arms frantically, like if I was going to hold on to something invisible. I heard more laughs next to me, I glanced at my right to see Moon falling next to me, her bat wings limp. She glanced at me and smiled. She flipped around so that her back was facing the sky then opened her arms and straightened her legs behind her.
"Enjoy the fall!" She screamed joyfully. I copied her posture, only to break it now and then when the butterflies in my stomach were getting out of control. I glanced at Moon again, she had her eyes closed, her hands and fingers relaxed, her wings falling behind her. She opened her eyes and meet eyes with me. I blushed lightly and quickly glanced away.
"Try shifting now!" I barely heard Moon shout, "Think of an animal or form and focus!"
"It's kinda hard to focus when you're falling through the sky!" Again, she smiled at me. She adjusted her wings in a soaring position and grabbed my hand, holding it tightly. "If you cant manage to shift, I got you." She said to me, not needing to shout that loud since she was closer.
I nodded and gulped nervously. Okay think, I thought to myself, Think, focus, focus, foocuuusssss.
"Remember, its gonna hurt." She said, sending a sly smile my way.
I send her a harsh glare, only getting a giggle from her. I ignore her and think harder. Okay come on you got this, dark blue, feathery wings, sharp black beak. While I'm thinking, I hear a loud CRACK! I screamed in pain, twisting my body in the air, accidentally jerking Moon to the other side of me. The air was filled with nothing but sounds of bones cracking and shifting, dark blue feathers made their way onto my skin, my nose and mouth turned into a beak, my arms into wings. I felt my body shrink in size and my clothes fall off of my now small body.
"You're doing it, Willow!" Moon exclaimed, watching with wide eyes.
I catch myself from falling any further, I turn my head to glance at my wings, I'm flying! I managed to make myself into a raven. Stare at Moon is amazement. In this feeling of joy, I soar towards the city with frightening speed, my wings thrust in front to guide me through. Good thing. There were some buildings that I would've flattened myself with if my wings (arms?) and my senses hadn't been so quick.
"Will! Wait up!" I hear Moon shout behind me. I cawed happily and raced home, feeling the wind go through my feathers. Once we made it I landed awkwardly, almost falling forward while doing so. We both went inside my bedroom window.
"Okay now just shift back," Moon said to me. She took off her hoodie and tossed it on my bed, "You're gonna need that."
After she left the room I was able to shift back without any trouble. I was about to walk out when I realized what was in the mirror. I glanced and blushed in embarrassment. I was naked. I grabbed Moom's hoodie and threw it on, along with a pair of underwear and a pair of jeans. I walked out. "That was fun," I said while smiling.
"Oh trust me, the fun is only beginning," She said with the famous smirk of hers.
