That Would Ruin the Surprise

I put my tray down on the lunch table as I sat down to eat lunch. Soon Rose and Canyon joined me. Yeah, you heard me right. Canyon. I've been tutoring him every single school day after school. Every freakin day, for the last week.

"So, what's the agenda for the night?" Canyon asked us. Rose and I looked at each other nervously. Friday nights, well, the agenda was usually a Netflix marathon with popcorn, soda and junk food.

"Um, you know, the usual...." I said nervously. He eyed me curiously. What if he thought I was some kind of loser that never went out of the house? Except for when I did, I nearly lost my virginty and ended up doing daily tutoring sessions.

"And what's the 'usual'?" He asked us, making his fingers make quotation marks around the work "usual".

"Um, Netflix marathon?" Rose said, biting her lip. Oh god, he was going to be disappointed, and that means he was gonna try to fix things...

He looked at the two of us like we were from a different planet. Rose and I looked at each other nervously, again.

"Are you serious?" He said, his emerald green eyes eyeing us weirdly. I quietly mumbled a "yes" and started picking at my food. The last thing I needed was for him to change my usual Friday night agenda.

"Well, looks like tonight that's gonna change." He said to us. My head snapped up, and my eyes grew wide. Rose's did the same. My eyes stared into his intensely.

"Please, not another party." I barely managed to choke out. Both of them knew that I would not be attending another party anytime soon.

"Relax, (A/N: Read note at the end for contest about this), I'm not taking you to a party." He replied, making me relax. But, I was very curious to where he was taking us, if it wasn't to a party.

I leaned my shoulders back in curiosity.
"Then where are you taking us?" I asked. He chuckled a little.

"Oh, that would ruin the surprise." He said, chuckling some more and totally creeping me out. I suddenly grew in anticipation. Where is he taking us?

Before Rose and I could reply, the bell rang signaling lunch to be over. Groaning, I threw away my trash, gathered up my stuff and walked with Rose to Science class.

A/N: I know this chapter is way to short for making you wait 2 extra days than planned but I've been really busy with school, church, and Christmas things lately so I'm sorry :( Um, if I do update next week, it will probably be the 23rd, MAYBE the 24th, and MAYBE the 25th... Cause I wanna give you guys a update for Christmas, but on Christmas Eve I'm literally at my church ALL DAY LONG from like 10am to 9pm... It sucks.... And I'm not sure what plans are for Christmas Day so, I might me able to update idk haha...
