{ 7 } Good Time

its been almost a year since i published a chapter & i am so sorry. i've been dealing with things at school & i never had the time to even write a chapter, but now i have :) if you wanna keep up with me, follow me on social media. my insta, twitter , & snap is lazypants44 & my tiktok is keniyawillis. hope you guys enjoy this chapter :) ( it's kinda boring in my opinion )

Imon's POV

Me and Nova stayed in my room all day. We talked about stuff and gotten to know each other. I found out she's the only child and her favorite color is blue. She also likes fries. I told her about my life and all the street shit. Of course she was mad just how like how I expected.

"Why did you even get yourself into this shit?" she asked me.

"It's part of my life. I just had to." I tell her.

"Yein have to do shit." she says under her breath while rolling her eyes.

"Ian have to do what now?" I ask her.

She didn't say anything. That's what I thought." I said while laughing. She's just sitting there quiet.

"Well, is there anything you wanna do today? Or is your head still hurting?" I ask Nova.

"I just wanna stay here." she replies.

She looks so sad all of a sudden. I don't know if it's something I said or what, but I'm about to go down stairs & get some ice cream for the both of us. I hope that'll cheer her up. I tell her that I'll be right back & she nods her head while getting under the covers.

As I get down stairs, I see Jordan laying on the couch sleeping. "Why the hell he not in his room?" I say under my breath. I noticed his phone is on the floor and that he had gotten a notification. Of course my nosy ass wanted to see what it was. I make my way to where he is & try to grab it, but he starts moving. Ian even finna try. I head towards the kitchen and grab two bowls and two spoons. I open the freezer and get out the vanilla ice cream we have. I then scoop three big scoops of the ice cream and put it in me and Nova's bowl. I don't know if she likes gummy bears but I sure as hell do, so I get some gummy bears out the pantry & put some in the two bowls. I then grab our bowls and head back up stairs.

When I get up to my room, I see Nova is still under the covers from when I left. "I got ice cream." I tell her. She gets from under the covers and when she sees the bowls, she started smiling really big. "I love vanilla ice cream and gummy bears!" she says really happy. She takes the bowl & starts stuffing her mouth with ice cream. Wow, this girl is easy to make happy I see.

Nova's POV

Imon just came back with ice cream & im currently stuffing my face. "Slow down." he says to me, "before you catch a-". I put the bowl down & put my hands on my head. I have a damn brain freeze. "See" he says. "Should've never been eating it so fast." "Hush" I say, while still holding my head. This shit feels so weird. After about a few seconds it went away.

"Is everything okay with you baby?" Imon asks me.

"Yea, why you asked?"

"Well before I left to get ice cream, you seemed so sad." He says to me.

Nothing was wrong with me. I was just having one of those day's. Of course guys don't understand. I don't feel like explaining to him what was wrong since there was nothing wrong, so I just tell him that I was alright.

We continued to eat and get to know each other. I found out Imon has a soft spot. He loves to read and he loves cats. Pretty weird coming from a street nigga, right? He also told me him & his brother bought this our for themselves, & their mom lives in her own house. I hate the fact that he has guns & stuff , but i don't think anybody can change that.

Five Hours Later

Right now, me, Imon, Jordan, & Nariah are in the living room playing monopoly. Jordan decided to invite her & he wanted us to hang out. Nariah questioned what happened to my head and I told her I ran into a pole, but I doubt she believed me. Right now, Imon is winning, then Nariah , then me , & Jordan is last. "Y'all mothafuckas are cheating!" Jordan says to us. "It's not our fault you broke as fuck & don't know how to play this game. How the hell you suggest us playing it but you don't even know how to play?" Imon says? Me & Nariah starts to laugh. Us hanging out is really nice. It's making me forget about the things that happened yesterday, which i never wanna talk about again. Things can't go wrong, right ?

this chapter was just about nova & imon getting to know each other . the next chapter is gonna be cute for them , then the chapter after that , shit hits the fan. don't forget to comment & vote :))
