"How was your first day?" Mrs. Kim asked the moment Seungmin stepped inside the house.
She was in the kitchen preparing for their dinner.
"Tiring," He mutters, lying on the sofa.
"I called you a couple of times today, you didn't pick up."
"Oh, my phone ran out of battery." Seungmin lies, taking the charger from his bag and plugging it in.
He furrows his eyebrows as he spots the same number on his inbox. This time, inside the text message is a name of one of his friends.

Seungmin was about to go to bed when his phone rang.
It was this Rae girl again. He pressed the green button.
"Hyunjin... You finally answered!"
"Uhm, I'm sorry, but this isn't Hyunjin." Seungmin says, a bit nervous.
The girl was quiet for a few seconds. "No, this is him. Please don't lie."
"Lady, I'm not lying."
"Hyunjin... You're just saying that because you want me to stay away right?" The girl behind the phone sniffles.
Shit.
"But I'm not gonna stay away." She continues. "Please, let's talk."
Seungmin could perfectly hear the background and she was already crying.
"Listen, I'm sorry."
He ended the call. He couldn't bear hearing her cry. He couldn't bear hearing any girl cry.
