Seungmin and Raewon decided to sit on the bench outside the mart.

No one dared to speak a word. No one dared to break the silence.

"Um—"

"So—"

They both said at the same time.

"You first."

"You first."

"No you go first.

"No you go first."

"Okay, I'll talk." Seungmin says, to clear the air. "Listen, Raewon, I'm sorry. But I did tell you I'm not Hyunjin."

Raewon shrugs, "It's just... I really thought I was going to see him again."

"You saw him at the party."

"Yeah but he was drunk. The only word I got from him was roadtrip."

"He must still be thinking about the roadtrip we had."

Raewon leans her back on the bench, "I just want to talk to him."

Seungmin faced her, "Do you still like Hyunjin?"

"Yeah, I do. I still love him. I mean, we really did have fun together."

"You had fun texting?"

"What's your point?"

"All I'm saying is, you two flirted and had a relationship over text." Seungmin explains. "I don't think that calls for love."

"And you would know, how?"

"I'm surrounded by couples. It's impossible not to know what love is."

Raewon scoffed, "I think I know what I'm feeling, Seungmin."

"Alright then. Let's say you still love him. What are you planning to do? Do I need to remind you that Hyunjin has a girlfriend?"

"So? Marriages don't work all the time. How much more if a relationship?"

Seungmin furrows his eyebrows, "You're planning to break them up?"

"I did have Hyunjin first."

"Yeah but no offense. Hyunjin doesn't love you. If he did, we wouldn't be having this conversation."

"How do you know he doesn't?"

"Because he loves his girlfriend. He asked her to be his girlfriend. He cut ties with all his exes to be with his girlfriend." Seungmin says. "Do I need to say more?"

"But I..." Raewon's heart started to feel heavy. She was on the verge of tears. "I thought we had something special."

Seungmin places a hand on her shoulder, "He had something special with a lot of girls too."

Raewon looked up, meeting Seungmin's eyes. "So I'm just nothing?"

Seungmin's felt a heavy lump on his throat. The last time he saw this look was from Chungha. He can feel how hurt Raewon is.

He pulled her closer to his chest, "Let it out."

Raewon started to cry as she gripped Seungmin's shirt.

"I'm here." Seungmin hugs her tighter patting her back.

"I talked to Rae last night." Seungmin says, meeting Hyunjin in the boys' bathroom.

"Nice, so I'm clear?"

Seungmin looked at Hyunjin. He did change but he still wonders how his old bestfriend could make a girl feel special and drop her the next.

No one deserves to be treated like that.

"Yeah, yeah. She won't bother you or me anymore."

Hyunjin nods, heading to the sink, "So did you get her real name? I kept wondering what she looks like."

"Can I ask you a favor?" Raewon lets go of the hug and wipes her tears.

"Anything."

"Can you not tell Hyunjin about me? Just tell him I'm some random girl and that I won't ever see him again. I don't want to cause a fight between him and his girlfriend."

"I will."

"No, actually..." Seungmin starts to lie, remembering her promise. "We just talked and when she realized I wasn't you, she left."

Hyunjin shrugs, "Works for me. As long as Chungha doesn't know about it. If she finds out I'm toast."

"Yeah, well you better make sure Raewon's the last one. I'm done doing errands for you."

"Hey, thanks bro. You really are the best!"
