Maddie's Pov — 2 weeks later — I shouldn't feel like this anymore, it's been 2 weeks and it's not like anything happened to me anyway. But I can't help but feel, well, helpless. Everyone keeps checking on me, like I'm some kid about to burst. I guess I am in a way.
I get out of my head and decide to get up, I can't keep thinking negatively, it won't get me anywhere. I go to the bathroom and brush my hair and teeth. I go to my closet and find an outfit

I have a cheerleading competition tomorrow so my coach called for a practice this afternoon.
I walk downstairs and see everyone rushing around the kitchen, I approach slowly and hesitantly.
"What's up guys?" They all stop and look at me as if they've been caught doing something bad.
"Nothing!" They all say in unison and now I'm concerned. I don't have time to deal with them now so I go to the fridge and get a protein shake out. I go for the eggs but Elton comes up and snatched them from me
"Elton I have practice in an hour and a half and I need breakfast so I swear to god give me the eggs if you still want to have a hand" he gulps and looks at Colby who is just standing their because he knows better than to mess with me when I'm hungry.
"We'll make you breakfast, you just go relax before practice and stay far away from the kitchen, okay?" Corey says coming up from behind me and closing the fridge.
"What is going on?" I say, now being very concerned for all their healths, I didn't even know that they knew how to cook. Usually it was just Devyn and I in the house cooking for the boys.They ignore the question and push me to the living room. I grab Colby and make him sit with me.
"What are you guys trying to hide?" His eyes go wide and I death stare him
"Babe, I can't tell you"
"Ughhh, pweaty pweaseeee" I say in a baby voice, I know he can't resist me when I use my baby voice
"Don't, don't, stop, I can't tell you" I go to my last resort which is puppy eyes and I pout my lip to give it extra effect. " *gulp* I.. can't.."
"Hmph, Fine."
"Phew, I didn't think I could take anymore" after hearing that I was about to start up again, but devyn came in with 2 plates and I was forced to put it to rest.
— Time Skip —
I was the first one out of the gym after a gruelling 4 hour practice. I was happy to see Colby in the waiting area, I went up and gave him a hug. but I was so exhausted that the hug was more of a 'I'm going to fall into you and I expect you to hold me up' hug.
"Woah you okay?"
"Yeah, tired, long practice" he holds me a little tighter and then I step away.
When I look behind me I see practically my whole team just staring at us, some have dropped jaws and some have the proudest look on their face.
"Okay, nothing to see here, keep moving ladies and gents" my coach says coming up from behind them. Colby and I laugh, I grab my bag and we both head to the car but not before getting some thumbs up from my teammates.
When we get home it's 3 o'clock which means the boys are probably filming another crazy video. Sure enough as soon as I walk through the door I hear screaming coming from the backyard. Colby and I walk out there to see Corey filming a bit with Sam and Aaron. I smile and walk to the kitchen to make some food, practice drained me today and I needed some energy.
When I'm done eating I wash my plate and head to my room, I can hear Colby making a video so I choose not to disturb him.
As soon as I see my bed I can already feel myself getting tired. I take a quick shower and hop into one of Colby's shirts and lay down. I had to wake up early anyway for my cheerleading competition tomorrow so going to bed at 5 didn't seem so bad.
As I feel myself slowly drift to sleep I hear my door open, I'm to tired to look up at who it is but when they get into bed with me I already know. I cuddle into Colby and he wraps his arms around me, something feels off though but I brush it off as my exhaustion. I finally let my body relax and go to sleep for the night.
