There is a time
When heat comes in
When the sun is shining brightest
There we see
That things begin
To be a little unpleasant
"Lyric. Lyric. Wake up!" came Melody.
"Lyric, wake up now!" urged Chime.
"Lyric!" they both screamed in his ear. Startled, he woke up with a start bumping into the both of them.
"Ouch! That really hurt!" both the girls responded at once.
"Get off me girls you are quite heavy and are cutting off my circulation." huffed Lyric.
They stood up and helped him up as well and that is when they realized that something was different, very, very different. They had taken up new forms.
Lyric had this tall well built body; muscle in all the right places. It wasn't the overwhelming type, more of a sturdy structure. His hair was a silky black and his eyes deep pools of blue. His skin a lovely bronze, sun kissed we could say. Quiet handsome one would say a Greek god in human form; which won't be far from the truth.
Melody had a sparkle in her hazel eyes as she gazed on his form. She could imagine her chocolate coloured fingers running through his silky hair. Her own curly shoulder length hair was something to get used to as it tickled her face. Chime, the petit, pale skinned, freckled face blonde, turned rosy red when she realized just how close they were standing to each other. The two were hovering over her as she was several inches shorter. Melody was only a few inches shorter than Lyric. She could have been a model with her voluptuous body. Chime on the other hand with her small frame felt quite uncomfortable in their midst.
"Where are the others?" Lyric asked. He however cared to see only one particular individual, Merry.
"Over here" remarked Craft who was a little way off dusting himself. He and Lyric could well have been twins were it not for his brown hair, green eyes and stern face. Lyric had something of a mischievous fun loving person kind of look going on. Craft just looked bossy with something of a superiority complex. Ferry was beside him, a medium height brunet with long hair and sure curves. Feed and Merry came walking towards the group. Feed was slightly shorter than Lyric with curly dirty blonde hair, a little less muscle and an adorable baby face. He was something of a teddy bear though not quite as plump. He was not fat but you were sure to not find a six pack under his shirt.
Lyric fixed his gaze on Merry who was now a curvy red head, about the same height with Ferry with dazzling green eyes and a lovely smile. Ferry and Merry were actually quite similar only that Ferry wore a scowl instead.
"All that is left is Jig."
"I am up here!" declared Jig from up a tree. They had landed in something of a meadow as they got a better look of the surroundings.
"I was getting a better view of the surroundings. There is something of a tower up ahead we could go get a better view up there." Jig said as he did a bit of gymnastics getting down.
He was quite agile and his lean frame enabled him to swing off the branch, do a flip in the air and land perfectly on his feet right next to Chime. Chime gave a slight shriek from the sudden action and nearly fell. Jig gave a grab for her and was able to cradle her in his arms before setting her back on her feet. Her face was scarlet again and for some reason Jig thought it a bit cute.
