The morning breaks
And so brings us hope
That this new day
Will be dope
"Klarysa, Klarysa!"
Urgh! Why did mum have to wake me up this early? It's the weekend for crying out loud. A girl needs to get her beauty sleep.
"Klarysa!"
Gosh. That woman has a good set of lungs on her, she is probably louder than a siren. Maybe if I keep quiet she will figure out I am still sleeping and leave me alone.
"Klarysa, get yourself down here before I come and get you!"
Oh oh. She is mad now. Why does she not get the benefits of getting a good night sleep?
"Coming mother!" she had to get down quick before she came back up. He mum had a very creative mind on how to get a sleepy young lady off her bed. She rushed down in her pajamas, a vest and some really short shorts only to realize there were guests waiting at the front door with her mother. Her hair was unkempt and her eyes puffy red. She was quite a sight.
Her mother just stared at her in shock. The guests were equally surprised. It was a family of three, a good looking couple with their really handsome son. He looked to be her age if not slightly older. He was smirking at her clearly amused at how she looked. She got slightly self conscious. Her hands and legs were exposed and her midriff was not completely covered. The vest did not do a very good job at covering her up. A large part of her was on display for everyone to see.
"This is my daughter Klarysa. Klarysa these are the delegates who were coming to drop their son to come help out at the camp. He will be staying here with us for some months so you will have to show him around and make him feel at home."
When her mum had told her there would be a guest coming to live with them she had thought he would be more of her mother's age. Not many people her age wanted to work in the camp. Housing escapees was not something anyone would want to do but her mum had done it for quite a long while now and the overall leaders had granted her the support not wanting to do the work themselves. Now they were bringing their children to look as if they actually cared and wanted to help. They start a war and then pretend they are remorseful and want to set things straight.
"Welcome, umm..?" she did not know his name. He looks like some pompous prick. I will show him the ropes and then leave him be. These bloody politicians just here for show. Well at least he is handsome.
"My name is Luka" well, he sure is reflected Klarysa, quite a looker indeed.
"I shall show you your room. Nice to meet you both." She headed up the stairs not wanting to melt under the gaze of the three adults. They had scrutinized her all the while making judgments as well as wondering why it was that she was still asleep at such a time.
"It seems you had quite an exciting night to have woken up in the middle of the day" Luka smirked.
Klarysa was shocked that it was that late. Of course her secret rendezvous with her boy friend would be discussed with her mum when she had attended to the guests. She was in for a lecture.
"It is none of your business!" she said curtly.
"This is your room" she pointed it out to him with impatience.
"And where is yours?" he asked pleasantly.
"Far away from here" and she walked away. She needed to have a bath and get into some decent clothes.
