That sounded like Hailey.
"Chill Hailey, she's been through a lot."
Is that Wren?
"What do you suggest then? My best friend just drowned for God's sake!"
"Quit it guys, you're acting like a bunch of babies."
The wind blew against my face. I heard a flock of seagulls fly over me.
I forced my eyes open and the gleaming light from the sun blinded me.
Four curious, worried faces peered down at me.

My name is Summer Ray. There's not much about me, unfortunately. I'm 17 and I look nothing out of the ordinary. I'm a brunette with brown eyes, a laid back personality and I'm always looking for adventure. I have an unhealthy obsession with hoodies and sweaters because I hate getting cold. Coffee fuels me. There's no question about it. Part of me feels like I was always destined to do something bigger.

Hailey and I have been friends since we were practically babies. Ever since my parents were gone, hers took me in and we have been inseparable. I don't remember much about my parents, to be honest. They got into a boat accident when I was 6 and they didn't make it. That's all I know. Hailey's parents wouldn't tell me much about it. Every time I try to think of them my mind goes blank. Hailey and I have been besties then and her parents were kind enough to raise me like their own.
Hailey Veracity looks like the typical spoiled, popular girl. Blonde hair, perfect skin, a great sense of fashion, and has tons of friends. She's quite the opposite though. She's very down-to-earth and honest. Her freckles dance whenever she laughs. She always has my back and I know I can count on her. I trust her with my life.
