"I'll boycott. Just like that one chick, Rosie something."
"Rosa Parks boycotted for equal rights, you want to boycott because you are lazy, and you can't even boycott homework you idiot," Riley snapped.
I rolled my eyes even thought she couldn't see it through the phone. "Whatever, I'm still not doing that homework. Mrs. Kayson is just a bitch."
"Morgan, you barely have a C in that class, it wouldn't kill you to try a little harder." Riley reasoned.
"I'm going to eat or something." I said and hung up.
I glanced down at my calculus homework. Maybe I did need to try harder. "Who am I kidding?" I laughed. I pushed the textbook away and logged into Facebook.
I was seriously so bored with my life. There is the same old stuff on my News Feed and nobody online worth talking to. This is how it always is on Facebook.
After probably twenty minutes or so of scrolling through those dumb "1 like= 1 prayer" pictures, I went to log off. As I was logging off I noticed a button that said "Create a Page" Out of pure curiosity I clicked that button.
After a looooong time and about 1,000 questions later, I now had a roleplay page. I was screwing around on it trying to figure the stupid thing out when I got a message from someone.
Hey babe, I'm new to this and I see you are too. Care to be friends?xx
I sat there for a moment quite proud of myself for making a new friend.
Sure :) xx
We talked nonstop for about 12 hours straight. He told me all about himself. His name was Zayn, he was from Bradford, he draws, he sings, his favorite color is purple, unless it is a shirt because he hates purple shirts. That isn't even a fraction of what he told me. In return I told him all about me too. How my dad died when I waas younger and my mom left me earlier this year and how I live by myself and hate school and hate pineapples and love keyboards and anything else you could imagine.
I don't really know why I told Zayn all of this stuff, but he was really easy to talk to. Soon after that we were best friends.
About a year and many many many skype calls and texts later Zayn told me he was going to try out for the X-Factor. I never how serious he was in the music department until he tried out.
I helped him pick a song for tryouts, he sang to me all the time and then it came time for him to try out. He told me all about his tryouts, how he got through and I couldn't be more proud. Then he told me how he was going to get sent home, but was instead put into a group with four other boys. I was completely blown away when he told me he made it. He would be performing every week. I knew Zayn would go far with his music. This was an understatement.
