Rain

7 2 1

Yesternight I tasted rain,
When it was almost night,
And the moon was faded white,
A droplet kissed my lips,
I felt the warmness of a lover seeking for feelings,
Then it rained heavily,
Soaking me in its innocence,
I forgot all my worries,
And danced like no one is watching,
I was drenched from top to toe,
Body to soul,
The moonbeams later embraced me,
As petrichor was luring me.

Slowly drinking the sky,
I was fascinated by the taste of heaven,
Despite the storms of coldness,
There was a fire lit inside me by rain,
My thoughts became clear,
I began to heal,
And in a split second,
My scars disappeared,
The only thing vanishing was my pain,
Yesternight I tasted rain.
