it was just a normal day at the tavern before a loud knock on the door, meliodas walks up and swings it open "hey what's the idea?" he said before stopping in his tracks, there was a box.. with something alive in it?
I sobbed and sobbed until my head was pounding, I was sat against the door with my knees hugged to my chest.
I staid like that until I heard a soft knock on the door, it startled me causing me to pull my head up from my body.
"hey.. aika it's me, please open up" said a familiar soft voice. I hesitantly pushed myself off the ground, I was shaking and scared.
I reached my hand out and unlocked the door. the door slowly opened to reveal a soft king who had a worried expression on his face.
he closed the door and walked up to me looking down at my short fragile body. he put each hand on each of my cheeks wiping away the tears that sat there on my soft skin.
he pulled my into a tight hug and I hugged him back, sobbing once more.
we stayed like that, me sobbing into his chest, gripping onto the back on his shirt with his hands in my hair.
"it's going to be ok, I know what's it like to lose the ones you love right in front of your very eyes," King said gripping me tighter.
my sobbing slowed down and I looked up at the taller boy. "y-you do?" I asked and he nodded. "ill tell you about it some other time, for now, you need rest" I softly smiled and agreed.
I slept in his chastifol, it was so soft and cozy. it smelt of roses.
and with that, I eased into a painless slumber.

I slowly woke up, my head pounding worse than before. I yawned before slipping down from the flouting pillow, making sure that kings hoodie is covering me up since that's all I'm wearing still.
I walk downstairs and see ban, king, Diane, and gowther all doing their own thing. I smell bans cooking and I get excited.
"good morning Aika" their catin said causing everyone to look up.
"looks like your happy" says ban with a smirk. "huh?" I say before seeing my tail sway back and forth.
I grab it blushing. "s-sorry" I say shyly.
king walks up with a small bag. "I made these for you" he say with a smile. I look in the bag to see some clothes. I smile and run upstairs. I change and look in the mirror

I smile wide, brushing my red hair out of my face before walking downstairs. everyone stopped and looked up even gowther. "Whatcha think??" I say with a wink.
they all compliment me and we sit down to eat bans yummy food. after I'm done I sit outside on the grass looking at the castle in awe, I've never seen it this close even though I'm still far, its something.
"hey Aika" king says sitting beside me. "hey king" I say kindly.
" wanna come to town with me to shop?" my heart drops and I start to fidget with my fingers
"w-well uh idk king I have stuff to do," I say lying I hear king chuckle
"I knew you would be nervous so I made you this as well" he pulls out a black coat with no arms, like a cape. I smile and tie it around me neck and pit the hood on.
"Great! this covers my tail and ears. I would love to come thank you king!" I say blushing and looking away.
I see him get up from the corner of my eye and hold out a hand to help me up. I take his and we head to town. I was so amazed by all the people and markets there were.
I stop by a stand-in particular witch has a neckless with a red circle with a heart on it. i stare at it not noticing king paying for it.
"w-what are you doing king?" I say and he laughs. "I can tell you like it a lot, so here," he says putting it on me.
I smile brightly and hug him. "thank you king" I say into his ear. and with that we continue shopping for herbs and ale for the tavern.
we stop by an ice cream stand and get ice cream cones before walking back to the tavern, or what I can call, my home.
