working for the tavern

I was talking to king and everyday things in the tavern when meliodas walks up to me with a smile on. "Nika! could I ask a huge favor of you" he says kindly. "yes go on" he smiles wider.

"would you work as one of the three sisters at the tavern!" he smiles pulling out a uniform from behind him. there was 20 minutes of me refusing but him continuing saying stuff like "the guess would love it" and "a kitsune would bring in all the customers" made me embarrassed as king stood there just watching this go on.

I sigh and finally give in and get dressed because he said i start tonight. the tavern was packed with men and everyone was busy I watched Diane and Elisabeth running around taking orders and such.

"look another waitress!" said an old man and all of them stopped and looked at me. I smile shyly which followed in whoops and whistles. I blush at the attention and quickly start.

I was passing drinks to a table of three holy nights when one reached under my skirt and grabbed my ass. I gasped and stiffed. a blush spreading over my cheeks. the tension stopped and I turn to see king grabbing his wrist and pulling it from me.

he looked very angry and my ears go down as I thought I had made him mad. "I'm going to ask you to leave" he said to the man sternly. the man laughed "what's a small little boy like you going to do"

king was amused before making chastifol into guardian and kicking his ass out. he floats to me before standing on his feet. "are you ok?" he says genuinely worried. I nod with a small mhm and get back to work. after the tavern closes and no ones there besides all the drunk seven deadly sins.

I sit on the bottom step of the stairs watching king and ban argue. how amazingly adorable I think to myself. king walks over to me sitting by me. "do you want a drink?" I shake my head no.

"you sure" says king as he hands me his cup. I take a sip of the ale and handed it back scrunching up my nose. he laughs putting a strand of my hair behind my ear. 

I blush and smile wide. "wanna take a walk I'm done with these losers" he says looking at ban passed out on the floor. "yes I could use some fresh air" we walk into the forest the mood lighting our way.

we walk until we find ourselves in a clearing as I take a step in the clearing a bunch of fireflies rise out of the grass and dance in the sky lighting up the area. we stand in awe. I laugh before running out and trying to catch one in my hand, jumping in the sky but failing.

king soon joins me and we try and catch some we sit cris cross on the ground. "I've got 6," king says opening his hands allowing them to fly out,

I snicker "I've got 10!" I say sticking out my tongue and he makes a fake mad face "No fair!" he says tackling me with him on top we go into a laughing fit before realizing what kind of position we were in.

he was in between my leg hovering over me with his hands on either side of my head. I blush looking into his eyes and seeing how beautiful the sight of king in the lingering light of the dancing fireflies.

everything was quiet with the exception of the sound of owls and wildlife in the forest. he slowing leans down connecting his soft lips with mine.

my whole body felt amazing my heart was beating at in felt as if id swallowed 100 butterflies. I kissed back and we sat their lips locked as we both enjoyed the moment.

he pulls away, us both panting and i smile wide, he returns the smile as he gets off me. he scratches his neck. "you look beautiful in the moonlight" he says just loud enough for me to hear it.

I giggle and grab his hand. "let's go home I'm tired" and we walked home together in comfortable silence.
