Nika pov
(dreamland)
I woke up and I was in a dark room, confused I looked around. I got up walking into the dark abuse, the echo of my foots steps following me.
"Hello?" I shout out while walking,
there was a spotlight witch seems to have three people in the center. i squint my eyes before realizing it was my mom dad and brother.
I ran to them jumping in there arms.
"I missed you so much" I say smiling.
"it's your fault.. " I hear my dad say. I back up,
"w-what?" I say confused.
"you're a disappointment it's your fault we are dead I wish it was you!" shouted my brother. I fell to the ground crying and they began to chat "I wish it was you" over and over again.
"no!" I scream covering my ears through it wasn't effective. "please stop!" I say "I'm sorry!" I say in between sobs.
faintly from a distance, u hear king's voice. "hey Nika wake up" I hear before waking up and sitting up fast,
there were tears streaming down my face, I put my head in my hands. my breathing was fast and I could feel my heartbeat.
I felt someone rubbing my back in circles.
I look up to see kings' soft expression. I looked in his eyes seeing the beautiful light brown eyes starring back.
I whip my tears and look down. "i-im sorry" I say just above a whisper. I hear king chuckle and his hand on my chin forcing me to look back into those amazing eyes.
"don't be, your ok" he says with a smile, I blush at how soft and gentle he was with me. this man has shown me the kindness and love I have been craving.
I was so deep in thought in didn't notice him getting in the bed beside me. "come here" he says pulling me into his chest and he started playing with my hair.
"you can go back to sleep its late." I whine
"i-i can't" I say softly on the verge of tears once more.
"whys that?" he says genuinely worried. "I don't want to have another nightmare" I hear him shift.
"you won't if I'm here, ill be sure to prevent them" he says and I nod. and with that, i fell into a lovely sleep. in kings arms.
