Chapter Twelve, The News
A few hours later just as Sirius was beginning to go stir crazy with worry for his daughter and granddaughter Andromeda came back into her office. "How are they?" Sirius demanded of his cousin ceasing his pacing, his eyes wild with panic looking very much like a deranged Black especially with his hair standing on end after all the times he ran his hands through it. "Sirius calm down before I have to force you to calm down." Andromeda said forcefully before she softened. "Both Aurora and Amaya are just fine after some potions but I want to keep them in for observation especially with how early Amaya was born, and how the labour was brought on by stress. They did have slightly high blood pressure and heart rate during the birth which was concerning but some potions soon fixed that." She told them.
"So they're okay?" Remus asked slumping in his chair almost sobbing in relief, the last few hours had been absolute torture wondering if his cub and her daughter would survive such an early birth especially one brought on by stress. He knew that if they had lost Aurora he and Sirius wouldn't survive that. "Yes they will be fine given some more potions and rest just to make sure and as I said I'll keep watch over them tonight or however long is needed but I promise you won't lose them." Andromeda informed them softly. "Can we go see them mum?" Dora asked seeing as the four men were nearly inconsolable they had been nearly worse then Teddy who had only wanted his Godmother. For the last few hours all the four of them did was pace up and down the small office.
"Of course but only for a little bit as they need rest Rory should have finished feeding her by now." Andromeda said as she beckoned them to follow her out of her office to the closed ward Aurora was in which was only around the corner and was a rather big ward as she was the only one in it and had her own bathroom. As they got to two large doors that had a panel in the middle of them she placed wand and badge in one panel and her hand in the other as it scanned her wand, pass and hand. The scanner scanned your ID through the pass and your magic through your hand and your wand so it would not work on someone under the effects of Polyjuice. Upon entering the ward the small group saw a happy but tired Aurora sitting up in bed cradling a tiny baby wrapped in pink as she hummed a lullaby.
"Are you okay and Amaya okay Rory?" George asked speaking for the first time as they all sat in the chairs around her bed, Teddy still squirming to get to his Godmother. "It's okay Dora." Aurora said holding out her free arm for Teddy. After double checking she was okay she placed Teddy in her lap as he snuggled into his Godmother starring at Amaya intrigued. "We're perfect." Aurora said looking up from her daughter and Godson to George. "She looks just like Fred, Georgie." Aurora told him with tears in her eyes. She carefully lifted up the little hat showing Weasley ginger hair. "She has my lips, face shape and eye shape but the rest is all Fred. She has his hair, nose and his brown eyes. She's the opposite of me and I love her for it as I have a piece of Fred in her and she's my precious little girl." Amaya smiled sharing a watery smile with George and Charlie but mainly George as Fred was his twin, his other half. "Say hello to Amaya Ava Potter-Weasley."
"She's perfect pup." Sirius smiled kissing his daughter's head then his granddaughter's and then Teddy who giggled at him making them all laugh. "I'm so sorry Rory. I don't and never would regret being with you as I've loved you for ages and you don't have to say it back yet but I just wanted you to know and I'm sorry that this happened." Charlie apologised. "Charlie you don't need to apologise you've done nothing wrong. I may not be able to say it back yet but I do really care for you and I am starting to get feelings for you I'm sorry if..." Aurora started but she was the one cut off now by Charlie.
"No Rory you don't need to apologise what you feel is enough for me I promise. I told you we would go at your pace and I meant it we also have Amaya to consider I know her and Teddy come first for you and the three of you come first for me." Charlie promised kissing her forehead as she whispered a soft thank you.
"I won't let them get away with this pup I promise you." Sirius swore still feeling the pain and anger he felt when he thought he would lose his precious pups. "We were thinking of all of us in this room to move to Romania with Charlie and live on the reserve. Have a fresh start for all of us away from the backwards ways of Britain but only when you and my granddaughter are fit enough to go. What do you think Pup?" Sirius asked. Aurora was silent for a moment as she thought it over. "I think that's a great idea. I don't even want to think about the way Teddy could be treated, the way Amaya could be treated just because of what's happened. I hate the way you and uncle Remus has been treated and no one would listen when I tried to say otherwise."
"I know cub." Remus said as he sat next to her running his fingers through her hair. "That's why we're leaving. We'll get it all sorted out so when your both allowed to leave the hospital we can move. You don't need to worry about anything. All you need to worry about is making sure you and my newest cub are healthy." Remus said kissing her forehead.
The family stayed for a bit longer each getting a hold and a cuddle with Amaya before they left before Andy could kick them out. As soon as they returned home to Grimmauld Place they got to work on starting the move to Romania, visiting the Goblins to get the financial side done for here and purchasing a house house on the edge of the reserve near the forests when it's the Full Moon for Remus so they were away from endangering the other people on the reserve, to set up the fines and magical restraints on all those who had caused Aurora such grief and for George to hand over the running of Weasleys Wizard Wheezes to Lee Jordan and set up the proceedings to open one in Romania. They then went to the Ministry to visit Kingsley to also set up the fines and restraints as it has to be recorded by the Minister and set up citizenships for Romania abandoning their British citizenships.
When they finally returned home they saw nearly everything was packed up thanks to Kreacher who would be coming with them, as it was rather late they ate the quick dinner Kreacher had sat aside for them before heading to bed all thinking they couldn't wait to leave Britain and start their new life.
