Chapter Thirteen, Moving to Romania

It was done. They were finally moving to Romania and leaving the British Wizarding World behind them. It taken a month of finalising the details and Charlie going on ahead as he had to go back to work but to also have the house set up and ready for when they arrived with the help of Kreacher. Aurora was excited to give her baby the best start in life away from all the tension and strife they were receiving that had caused her to go into an early birth, two months early and caused them to stay in the hospital for two weeks to make sure all of Amaya's organs were developed properly with the help of some potions.

They had said their goodbyes to Arthur, Bill and Fleur who was currently expecting a little girl and to their friends; Lee Jordan, Oliver, Angelina, Alicia, Katie, Neville, Luna and Hagrid. It had been a quite a tearful goodbye even though there was promises to visit Romania especially when Hagrid started howling into his tablecloth sized handkerchief as he was greatly upset that his greatest friend, Aurora, was leaving though he understood why as it was for her daughter. He had been incredibly angry with everyone who had sent her those foul letters that caused her to go into early labour and that it had nearly cost her, her life and her daughter's life. He was especially angry with Ron and Hermione, who were supposedly her friends, and had given them a right good seeing to in the middle of the Great Hall at dinner, according to Neville and Luna. Everyone learned that day not to mess with Aurora if you didn't want a angry Hagrid after you.

Now they were just making sure Amaya and Teddy were fed and changed and had everything they need while they wait for the International Portkey to activate in a few minutes. Once they were finally all ready their belongings shrunk and placed in their pockets they gathered round the Portkey Remus holding Teddy and Sirius holding Amaya as neither Dora or Aurora were very good at staying on their feet after the Portkey due to their clumsiness and they didn't want their babies to get hurt. "Right everyone place a finger on the boot." Sirius said nodding to the boot in George's hand they all quickly did as he said Remus and Sirius making sure they had a firm hold on their charges as they were whisked away from Grimmauld Place, from England only to land outside their new home in Romania.

As was predicted both Dora and Aurora fell to the floor in a heap as soon as they landed laughing as they pulled themselves up and dusted themselves off as soon as they had regained their balance, George, Sirius and Remus hovering behind the two in case they fell again. "So they fell then?" Charlie asked laughing as he walked up to them rubbing a salve onto a new burn on his arm but thankfully this was one was rather small. "What happened?" Aurora asked concerned coming up to him and rubbing the paste onto his arm for him. "Just a baby dragon this time. He sneezed and fire came out of his nose while I was tending to one of the other babies and didn't see it quick enough." Charlie told them.

"Perhaps this will teach you to not go in alone with a load of baby dragons Charlie." An elder man called out behind them with a thick Romanian accent. He looked to be around Sirius and Remus' age with long blonde hair tied back in a ponytail, muscular and dressed in a grey short sleeved top with black dragon hide protective trousers, shoes and gloves and a great deal less burns then Charlie. "Hello I'm a Director Vladimir Williams and I am the head director here. But you can call me Vlad. I wish to welcome you to the reserve and to inform you Lady Potter-Black that we accept your application to be our apprentice healer here. As you can see from Charlie they are never in short supply. And he is one of our head dragon tamers, but he would not wait till someone was free this morning." He said with a smile and a roll of his eyes showing he was only teasing.

"I know you have just had a baby so you will be paid for maternity leave until your baby is old enough to not need you as much so don't worry." He said smiling at Aurora. "Is this your daughter? She is very beautiful like her mother." He smiled kindly.
"Now Lord Black and Mrs Lupin as I understand it you were both Aurors back in Britain and you are welcome to be apart of our team here. It is only small however as it is mainly to stop our dragons being stolen, stop any thieves from stealing from our residents and such things is that okay with the two of you? Good." He smiled when they agreed.

"I know you have a baby too so the same applies to you as well Mrs Lupin. And Mr Lupin we have a small school for the children of our families here sort of like a Muggle primary school if you will and your application has also been accepted we have also got a supply teacher ready to cover you in the times of the Full Moon. Mr Weasley, Charlie tells me you are opening your fabulous Weasleys Wizard Wheezes shop here in Romania and I can tell that a lot of our residents myself included are looking forward to that." Vlad said smiling at George with excitement shinning in his eyes. "Once again welcome to the Romanian Dragon Reserve I hope you like your new home and I'll leave you to settle in my friends." Vladimir smiled as he said goodbye to all of them and headed back the way he came.

Remus looked on rather confused as the man left he had seen nor heard any contempt or revulsion in Vladimir's face or words. "I said you wouldn't get any judgement here." Charlie said seeing the surprise on Remus' face. "Your not the only werewolf here. One of the other head dragon tamers with me is a werewolf and he's really nice, Mike Salvator, maybe you can talk to each other. He's always wanted a family but like you is nervous. Maybe now you've had Teddy you can help him?" Charlie suggested with a shrug.

Remus nodded agreeing with Charlie to help Mike as he is grateful Aurora had given him such a talking to last year when he first found out Dora was pregnant and he has told her when she was on the run. "Thank you cub. I don't know where I'd be if it wasn't for you kicking my arse into gear last year." Remus said hugging his cub tight to him. Aurora smiled and kissed his cheek relishing in the hug as the others all looked on happily they all knew though she was sweet and kind Aurora had a mix of both her parents tempers and would tell you when you were being an arse. "We still have trouble getting the Wolfsbane though, not many potioneers want to make it. But they do it in the end after we pay them quite a bit." Charlie said sadly rolling his eyes at the ignorant people.

"That's why I applied to be a apprentice healer. I've always wanted to help people and once I pass I can start making the potion. I made it in third year successfully." Aurora said with a shrug from Remus' arms.
"That was you?" Remus asked remembering the year worth collection of potions that had been left on his desk before he resigned, he had assumed Dumbledore had made Severus make him some but clearly that wasn't the case.
"Yeah, Potions was my favourite subject aside from Magical Creatures and DADA. Snape just didn't want to see it all he kept doing was saying I was arrogant like dad. So I gave it to Madam Pomfrey who had a friend who could test it, I got a letter back saying it was astounding a third year had made a perfect potion so Madam Pomfrey convinced Dumbledore to let me give you it. He gave in, in the end." Aurora said embarrassed at all the attention she was receiving.

"Thank you cub." Remus said choked up hugging her tight to him as he kissed her forehead. He didn't know how he and Sirius got so lucky to have such an amazing and caring cub especially as they weren't there for twelve years of her life. The moment was interrupted as Amaya started crying as she was due a feed. Pulling out of her uncles arms she took her daughter off of her dad and headed into the house sitting in one of the armchairs covering herself with a muslin cloth as she fed her daughter the others following behind her drinking the tea and eating the sandwiches Kreacher had placed on the coffee table for them. Aurora relaxed back into the chair as she fed her daughter watching her family talk and eat their lunch. They were finally happy and at peace and it seemed they could finally start living their lives.
