"What..?" He asked confused
"Umm....I said I am not Emma." Emma is our classmate and that's the only name that sounds like Anna...I hope he buys it.
"Emma..? You said Emma?" He questioned Still confused
"Ya....why, what did you hear?" I acted wisely because I can see him getting convinced.
"Uhh....ummm..nothing, but why did you say Emma. She likes me?" He looked at me curiously
"I am not sure but yes I think so" I am taking it easy so that he doesn't figures out that I have no clue about her. I never talked to Emma, well I don't even remember her face.
"Ok." He didn't agrue
"So..You like her?" I asked curiously
"Nope"
"Why not?"
"She's not my type." He shrugged
"Oh...so please Mr. Jake why don't you enlighten me, what's your type. " I asked in a fake British accent.
"My...type of girl is really difficult to find you know. I need a girl who's not predictable, she doesn't say no to anything even if she knows she can't do it...I want her to try. A girl who's brave enough to see good in people even after getting hurt she will still hold on....who knows that if I am angry...it's useless to talk to me but she will still find an excuse & talk me into things to distract me. I want a girl who knows freedom and believe in me...a girl...who will control me, consume me and wouldn't hesitate to punch me in the face if I am wrong. " he said seriously with a smile on his face....like he knew this all time long.
I am speechless, it's really difficult to find a girl like that...
"Ummm...Earth to Kate." He pulled me out of my thoughts and continued
"What's your kinda guy?" He asked wiggling his brows at me.
"What do you mean..?" I asked him confused. I never thought about this and after listening to him...I really need to think about it.
"Come on...Every girl fancy a prince charming....So what's your type?" He asked again
"I never thought about it" I stated
"Do it now.....think about it and tell me" he forced me
"Okay....Ummm well, let's see what I want.... but not a prince charming for sure" I chuckled but he gave me a stare so I continued
"I don't want a prince charming or a hero...I want a guy who's adventurous, capable of doing things by himself, someone... independent who will find humour even in the worst situations....who's selfless....one who doesn't mind being the bad guy if he's right, he'll do it. I want a guy who's protective not....not possessive, the one who gets jealous not mad....and finally the one who respects me and my decisions not try change them or control it. I want him to look at me the way every girl wants to be looked at. The one who will increase and decrease my heart rate at the same time. A guy whom I can call mine." I completed with smiling ear to ear.... Jake looked shocked....surprised or maybe impressed. I don't know but he's quite.
"Earth to Jake...." I snapped my fingers accross his face
"Ya... i am here, it's just....I didn't knew you would want that. I thought like other girls you would like a guy buying you chocolates, gifts and all.....I just....ummm didn't know that you do have feelings....you always joke around and....it's surprising" He said truly and then looked at me to say something..
"Well....ya I do feel but I don't want people to involve in that...you see I trust very easily and if people know that I am more than a girl who's funny and happy then they'll start loving me....you know I am soo irresistible when it comes to guyz"
I said in the same tone he used earlier and winked at him.
"Yaa....watever! Copy cat" he teased me rolling his eyes.
