One hour has past and next stop is Rainnest, it feels like 5 hours sitting on this bus. I really wish I had a car; this takes forever. I have been looking out of the window for too long now. What do I even say to my mom, I haven't heard her voice in five years? Last I heard from her was a birthday letter when I turned fourteen and the first time meeting her new husband and his son. I wish my dad was still here, I miss him more than anything in the world!

The bus driver started yelling "Now Rainnest"

I took my bag, my dad's old baseball bag. Filled with barely anything. I walked towards the exit of the bus, not recognizing a single thing in this town since I moved. I forgot how bad the weather always is here.

"Olivia" a little quit voice sounded behind me, I turned around and there she was. It was awkward, I don't know what to say to her. Which feels unbelievable knowing it's my mother standing there. The woman who abandoned me. She took my bag out of my hand and started going toward a blue truck.

We just sat in the car without saying a word to each other. She pulled up in front of a small white house, at the front door a middle-aged man was smiling and waving to us. He walked over to the car and opened my door.

"You must be Olivia" he said.

I mumbled a hi. Why did I mumble? Why can't I just say something like, okay I don't know what else I should have said. Why am I so shy? He was still smiling to me and took my bag from the back of the truck.

She yelled "Come inside dear" from the front door. I walked in and to be honest I got surprised; the house looks so renovated on the inside compared to outside.

"Let me show you, your room" Andrew told me. Andrew seems more interested to talk with me than my mom. He walked up the stairs and of course I followed him, he turned right and opened a door and walked into what is supposed to be my room. It felt so empty, a bed, a closet, a little mirror on the wall and a little nightstand. No pictures or plants. Not even a little rug or anything.

"Elijah helped me with the room"

"Who is Elijah" I asked him. Is that his son or am i too lost?

"That's my son, a senior at the high school, his with his friends right now, you can meet him later" I just nodded as an answer. I don't want to be to nosy. He smiled and left the room, I just stared at my bag, a tear suddenly ran down my cheek. I started unpacking, but it didn't take that long, I only have, well a bag full of clothing and a little picture frame with me and my dad in it. I looked down myself and realized I have a hole in my sweatpants, but I can afford any new. Might as well just take a nap.

"Wake up dear, it's time for dinner" I woke up to my mom staring at me. I nodded and followed her downstairs. I don't know where the kitchen is yet. When I entered the kitchen, Andrew smiled at me.

"Olivia meet my son Elijah" I looked over at a big glass door where a tall boy was standing. I smiled and waved awkwardly. We all sat down at the dining table and started eating.

"So, Olivia when are you starting school" Asked Elijah.

"Tomorrow morning" I answered.

"You can drive with me if you want to" I nodded, at least I knew one person at school now. But his a senior so we don't have classes together.

We finished dinner and sat in the Livingroom watching television. When Elijah phone started ringing, he left the room while answering the call. He came back into the room quick.

"Can the guys come over to play videogames upstairs" he asked.

"Sure, they can" my mom answered.

"I will go to my room, is that okay" I asked nervously.

"You don't have to ask Olivia it's okay, of course you can" Andrew answered. I left the room and went upstairs to my room. I sat down on the bed with the picture of me and my dad. God, I miss him. I changed to my dad's old sweater. I looked into the mirror when I realized my neckless was missing, I dropped it somewhere. I started searching my room and then my bag. I still couldn't find it. I went downstairs and asked if they have seen it. Still no sign of my necklace. I went outside and searched the grass when a motorcycle pulled up behind me. I turned around and a tall boy with green eyes looked confused at me until he suddenly said.

"Are you Olivia Miller" I look scared at him.

"Why do you know that who I am" I asked him.

"I'm Jeremy, Jeremy brown the most handsome guy in the world" he answered. I ignored him and searched further through the grass.

"What are you looking for" he asked.

"My necklace is missing" He started looking around at the driveway. It started raining very heavily. I looked down at myself and realized I am wearing a white sweater and no pants. I looked up and a new guy with and umbrella stood next to me and another one saying hi to the guy with the green eyes. Who is all these people?

"Olivia what are you during in the rain" a familiar voice said.

"Elijah please help me find my necklace" I begged. Suddenly all 4 boys looked in the garden.

"Is it gold with a G on it" someone asked. I nodded and mumbled a yes.

"Well I found it" the same person said. I looked into a pair of green eyes again he was standing close to me.

"Turn around" he said, and I did. He put the necklace on me and something warm. He had put his leader jacket over my shoulders.

"Thank you" I said.

"Well anything for Janet's daughter" he replied. We all went inside, and I was about to head up to my room again when I realized I was still wearing his jacket, I turned around and handed it to him with a little smile and hurried to my room and went to bed.
