After what seemed like an eternity, you finally turned back.
Same with those beautiful eyes, your lips curled up in a pretty smile.
You were here, looking at me
Exactly like I wanted you to.
Waiting there for you to come closer
And engulf me in a hug, acknowledging me
Because I wasn't able to move an inch
Happy beyond limits, that you finally noticed me
And then just so gracefully
You walked towards me
And at that moment
When you were in front of me. I realized that your gaze
Was on someone else and not me
That your lips curled up in a smile
Not because you finally noticed me
That you indeed walked towards me
But not for me
I realized that you were
Looking at someone behind me
And just so easily you walked past me
Without even noticing that I was there all along
