"Damn, look at that ass."
I flipped the bird to Faraday as I was collecting firewood for our camp. He laughed and just wolf whistled again when I bent down to retrieve the last piece. Back at camp, I stacked the wood in a neat little pile and made sure we had enough wood for the night.
Looking around, making sure no one was paying attention to me, I felt the surge of energy across my fingertips and lit the makeshift teepee. It burst up and let out an addible whoosh.
"Damn, don't blow us up! Use less gunpowder next time." Vasquez scolded.
I just stared in his direction. He started to get agitated, stomping towards me.
"What gringo? You got a staring problem you mute?"
"Uh buddy I don't think you should do that." Goody stuttered.
"Nah Goody just let it happen. Show them what you can do Alex. Give them a taste of who you really are." I smirked at Sam and I thought I saw a tinge of fear in his eyes.
"Come on! I think everyone has the wrong guy. Look at him! He hasn't spoken at all. Hell, his bandanna and hat covers his face. What's wrong gringo? You ugly as hell that you need to cover yourself? Maybe some freak accident?" Vas taunted and I knew what he was doing, he wanted me to make the first move.
Faraday and Billy snickered at me.
"Come on boys! Someone make a move!" Faraday yelled, excited for the bloodshed.
I took at quick glance, seeing everyone was on edge, trying to see what was going to happen. In the split second that I tore my eyes off Vasquez he charged at me, trying to catch me off guard. Although he was fast, I was faster. I dodged his attack, whipping my arm across his face while I swooped his feet from underneath him, causing to fall in his ass. While he was stunned on the floor I grabbed him by his neck, holding him up in the air.
"Holy fucking shit. This guy is a damn beast." I heard someone mutter. I stared at Vasquez for the first time and his eyes were bulging out of his head as he tried to breath. I can only imagine the sight. My eyes were practically glowing from the power I was trying to hold back. Excitement coursing though my veins, ready to kill.
Stop we need him. He's human we need him. I had to remind myself.
I let him down and Vasquez immediately started to gasp for air, hands on his throat.
"Jesus Vasquez, you just got your ass handed to you." I had enough of his little mouth so I stared at him head on arching my eyebrow. Faraday's face fell once he realized the color of my eyes.
"What the fu—"
I made the zip it motion and his sentence was cut short, his mouth disappearing. Faraday started screaming, clawing at his mouth. In an instant everyone's gun was on me.
"Look I don't know what the fuck you are but you need to undo whatever the hell you did!" Billy shouted, everyone hysterical.
"Wait wait wait you were telling the truth! Oh god oh god oh god." Emma rambled, shaking.
Wrong one Emma, I am not God. I laughed silently at that one.
"Alex undo it please. Now you went and made everyone freaked out." Sam scolded, like I was a child. I rolled my eyes and followed what he said. I snapped my fingers and Faraday was back to normal. He touched his mouth and let out a loud sigh of relief.
"Thank fucking god!" He then drew his gun on me. "Now tell me why the hell I shouldn't blow your goddamn brains out right now?!"
"Because I would just come back asshole." I stated with venom in my real voice, not caring about it anymore.
"Holy shit you're a woman!"
