"Diamond....move"

Jah told me as he pushed my body to the side. I softly kicked his leg as a response. My eyes were half opened and I felt an arm going across my hips suddenly. I liked it a little. Then, I realized who was doing it. It took a minute to process, then I saw Trippie and Stokeley in the doorway.

"Awww!! You guys are just so cute" Trippie said, in a baby voice.

I instantly shot up, which caused Jah to do the same. Still noticing he had his arm on me, I grabbed a pillow instantly and threw it at his face.

"ah! Damn it" He said, holding his nose.

"Ooh! Shit!" Stokeley shouted.

"Shit. I am so sorry! I didn't mean to-"

"Nah, it's cool" He smiled, exposing his bloody nose.

I didn't even know I had that much strength. Maybe it's from fighting Pearl for the last of anything for all these years. I jumped at the sight of his blood dripping onto his teeth. I jumped up and grabbed the tissue box next to his bed, and the water bottle. I poured the water onto the tissue and began to clean the blood on his face.

He seemed a bit flustered and tried to pull away, but I just continued to clean. I could tell that this was a bit embarrassing for him, but I didn't care.

"Diamond" He grabbed my hands. "Stop" he said in an angry tone.

He looked at me, with a serious look in his eyes. He instantly got up and just walked away, leaving me sitting there with bloody tissues in my hands. I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned to see a tall, platinum blonde girl with sort of light skin.

"girl. don't mind him, he don't like to be babied like that" She said, while sitting down on the bed, next to me. "I'm Opal also known as Garnet. You must be Diamond"

I nodded. I noticed that our names matched. We were both gems, or at least the names of gems. I wanted to make a joke about it, but it would've been terrible.

"Not a lotta girls around here except for me, Asia, and Ayleks. And they both annoying as hell. So, how'd you get here?"

"Jah saved me from that mall shooting" I gasped. I totally forgot about Pearl. I grabbed my phone and saw that there were 6 missed calls from Tyler and 5 messages.

tyler: Diamond.
tyler: call me the fuck back NOW
tyler: I SWEAR IF YOU DONT FUCKING CALL ME BACK. ITS ABOUT THE BOY WHO BEAT ME UP
tyler: IF YOU'RE WITH HIM, GET OUT OF THERE AND COME SEE PEARL
tyler: DIAMOND PLEASE

I looked at Opal, who was looking at me like I was crazy.

"I have to go" I said, realizing that I was in pajamas, but it didn't matter.

I put on my sandals and started to walk out of the house and dial Tyler's number. Stokeley walked up to me, out of nowhere.

"the hell are you going? don't you want some pancakes? Jah is making some" He asked. Since I was not getting an answer from Tyler, I wanted to, but then Tyler texted me the hospital address.
