"I CAN'T FUCKING BELIEVE YOU"

I said as we walked into Jahseh's house with the spare key that Stokeley had. Which, now that I think about it, was probably stolen.

"Listen, Diamond! I'm sorry! I didn't know that-" Pearl tried to explain.

"That what?! You didn't know you'd put the person who gave you a home after you got out of the fucking hospital in jail?!"

Trippie and Stokeley looked at each other in shock. They obviously didn't know what to do in these types of situations.

"That is not fair! You're the one who left me at that fucking mall!" Pearl yelled back.

"I know, and I'm sorry! BUT THAT DOESN'T GIVE YOU A REASON TO PUT AN INNOCENT MAN IN JAIL! AND WHAT WERE YOU GONNA DO ABOUT ME, HUH?!"

Pearl froze and looked to Trippie for help, who just held his hands up and began to walk away slowly. Stokeley just stood there with an eyebrow raised.

"Pearl" Stokeley said, coldly.

Even I got chills at the sound of his voice. I mean, his voice was normally pretty low but now it was so low we couldn't even tell if it was actually Stokeley speaking.

"You fucked up. Now you have to fix it" He said as he put a cigarette in his mouth and started to walk away.

Pearl sighed and looked at me one last time for sympathy. I just rolled my eyes and walked to Jah's room, bumping her shoulder as I walked.

Once I made it to Jah's room, I saw Trippie sitting on the bed while holding the Stitch plushie that Jah had. Stitch was always his favorite.

"what are you doing here?" I asked.

"can I not be in my best friend's room?" He retorted.

"that's not what I meant" I said, as I sat down next to him on Jah's bed.

Trippie smiled, softly, and put the plushie down. I looked at his face and saw that he was side eyeing me a bit.

"what?" I asked.

"you know this isn't the first time Jah went to jail for a friend" He said.

"What?" I asked.

"Remember Nick?" He asked. "A year ago Ski was dating a pretty ass girl. She was perfect for him, she treated him like he was everything. They lasted for 2 years until it came out that she was pregnant, and Ski was wasn't the father. Everyone was trying to figure out who it was until Ski simply checked her phone and saw that for the entire time that they were dating, Nick had been messaging her and they had been meeting up. Probably to fuck. Ski was so mad that he jumped Nick. He brought a gun and everything" Trippie explained.

"What else happened?" I asked.

"Before Ski could shoot Nick, Jah took the gun from him and told him not to do it. As Ski began to calm down, the police came. Jah told Ski to run and they found Nick, passed out on the ground, and Jah standing over him with a gun. He went in for a long time, but he was still loyal to his friend. So loyal that he payed Nick a large amount of money to say that Jah did it so Ski wouldn't have to do time. When Jah came out, Ski was so disappointed in himself for what he had done that he left all traces of that old him behind. He became less serious, more funny, and he cut Nick and that girl out of his life, for good"
