The next day I woke and got ready for work since I take my showers at night to make my mornings quicker. Veronica was coming to pick me up for work to day so we can get to know each other more. When she texted me she was here I walked out to her car. "Hey v how are you?"
"Good girl and you?"
"Good."
"So what do you think about living in LA?"
"This is my only my third day here." Betty said while giggling
"Wait so you came here they day befor your first day of work!" Veronica exclaimed shocked.
"Yeah so?"
"OMG when are you off?"
"Um on the weekends why."
"Great you have the same off day. You my lady are going to the club with me."
"What, no I have never been one." Betty said as they got at the car at the building.
"God then you really have to go." Veronica exclaimed as they got on the elevator.
"But v-"
"No you are going or I will come to your apartment and drag you there my self."
"Fine but I will not have fun." Betty said and sat at her desk.
"What ever girl I got to got see you."
"See you." After about thirty minutes of working on papers Donna(yes I changed carly to donna thanks to a comment it just seemed more appropriate for the bitch to be Donna.😁) came up to Betty," hey betsy."
"Its betty?"
"Whatever I need you to do my work for me."
"Donna I really can-"
"Do you wont me to put a bad what in with the boss?" Donna said with a evil smirk.
"Fine just give them to me and I will drop them off on your desk when I'm done." Donna put a giant binder with lots of papers on Bettys desk.
"Thanks Betsy." Donna said cheerfully and skipped away.
"Its Betty." She mumbled
1 hour later
It was Bettys lunch break and she was eating her lunch while working on all the work she had when someone sat at the table in front of her. She looked up and saw Jughead and smiled. "Hi," she said.
"Hey." He said with a smile
"What's up?"
"Um I just wanted to say thank you again for last night. You were a lot of help."
"Oh it was nothing dont worry about it." Betty said shaking her head and looking down with a smile.
"But it was something. My phone was dead and I dont know shit about cars, if you weren't there I would be stranded to morning when the secretary gets back to open the doors."
"So I wanted to do something in return." He continued
"Jug, no you dont have to do anything-"
"But I want to. Um how about I take you out to dinner." He said with a cheesy smile
"Are you asking me out Jones?" Betty said with a grin.
"Maybe." Jughead said kinda nervous.
Betty was considering saying yes until see looked down at all the work on the table in front of. She really did want to go on the date but she knew that all the work she had would take all night. "I'm sorry but I cant I have all this work because donna gave me all her work to do and some other people gave me a few things. Trust me I would love to go on this date but I just can't." Betty sighed out. She looked down sad that she cant go on a date that would be her first while jughead was disappointed at first till he got a Idea. "I can help you." Betty look up at him confused by what he ment.
"I'm a fast worker I can do some of your work for you."
"Really, you would do that just to go out with me."
"Yeah."
"Ok then here's some papers that are paper clipped for specific people and I guess i will see you tonight." He was starting to walk away yo she said, "um wait," she said and wrote something on a piece of paper,"um here is my number and address come pick me up at 7 ish." She said as she walked towards him.
"Yeah I will call you. And for the date, were something formal." Betty smiled as she watched him walk away.
As she was working all she could think about was how this was going to be her first ever date. Back in high school she was known as the nerd. Had no friends and never a boyfriend; Betty was never bullied just invisible. She had Cheryl here and there but she was popular and Betty didn't wont to ruin her reputation so stayed invisible how she liked it.
Meanwhile Jughead was shocked that he just asked out a girl he only knew for barley two days. He never liked anything girl in the Office. They were all just Office whores- except for veronica- which he was not into. But Betty seemed cool and he wonted to get to know her more. But first he had to find a fancy restaurant for them to go to.
Ok so slow update come from slow people which I am. But hope you liked the chapter that took me so long to write because I was binge watching Twilight while writing.
