The day after Niklaus had bitten Elijah , Skye was pouty and annoyed at him so she sulked as she ate her breakfast remembering what Elijah used to be like when they were human

"sit with me" he looked around with a soft smile before nodding his head and sitting down next to her in the woods next to the lake with a beautiful waterfall "we've been looking for you, I'm sure Niklaus is not far behind" he laughed and so did she "I'm sure he is. It is hard to get away from you boys" she smiled "should I be offended my rose" she shook her head "no.. I just needed time to think" she laid her head on his shoulder and he rested his head on hers "it's your day of birth. You should not be sad" he lightly grazed her hand with his "I know. I just miss my mother" he took her hand "let's get back we have a great dinner prepared for you and Niklaus and I have a surprise" she looked up at him and smiled before he helped her up gently "then let's get back" they walked together towards the house and she sat Niklaus and Kol holding bunches of wild flowers with of course, Red roses she smiled and brought her hands to her mouth "but they aren't in season" she took the flowers "we bargained with ayana and she grew these for you" (the village witch) Scarlett smiled as wide as ever "i am ever so lucky to be part of your family" finn walked over to the group with Rebekah in tow "you are family" he placed an affectionate hand in her shoulder "food is ready. Let's go eat sister" Rebekah grabbed her hand and she ran with her as Skye held onto the roses in her hand looking back at the boys with a grin on her face as all four of them stood and watched her "I will make her mine" Kol said proudly "you'll have to go through me first" Niklaus put him in a brotherly headlock as elijah and finn shared knowing looks.
"Morning Love" Niklaus walked into the kitchen but she simply ignored him "did you sleep alright?" She still ignored him "oh don't be sour with me he'll be fine by tonight" she got up and put her bowl in the sink before trying to go back upstairs but he grabbed her waist lightly pulling her too him "scared don't ignore me" his eyes were demanding but pleading. She was the one woman who he never wanted to hurt "you've upset me Nik. Elijah is in pain and you won't let me help him or even worse you won't help him. He's your brother" she gave him her sad puppy eyes and he could have just melted "Scarlett this is what he gets for such accusations against you and my child. You know how protective I am of you. You are not at full strength right now and I am on edge" she sighed and placed her hands around his neck "I understand. But he is your brother he loves you Nik. As do I" he smiled softly "and I love you" they lent in for a kiss when they were rudely interrupted "and I love keeping my breakfast down" Rebekah walked in angry "come to yell at me about our brother" he taunted as Skye washed up her bowl "no. I'm simply here to see Scarlett and await our brothers healthy return" Skye laughed "well your unlucky today. Nik promised to spend today with me. Making up for his lack of time for me recently" she raised a brow at him as if warning him "yes my love I know" Rebekah scoffed "well I always have time for my sister" she put an arm out and Skye happily hugged her "how about we go shopping soon. I'm going to need Maternity clothes and you have the best style" Rebekah smiled widely "I would love to well take Niks wallet" she smiled before leaving "let's go get you dressed" he walked up to Skye and easily lifted her bridal style like it was nothing as she laughed and gripped onto his neck in shock "don't you dare drop me" she pointed "I would never. Especially with your precious cargo"
They arrived somewhere Skye didn't know it was away from town and quite secluded it was an auto garage near the docks. She knew they were meeting josh but when she saw klaus vamp away she had the feeling today wasn't going to go how she thought it would. When she found the men she heard them talking about the dagger the one that could be used to put down Rebekah or Elijah which she did not want josh disappeared for a moment leaving them alone "you just promise me klaus that if we get this dagger you will not use it on them" she aimed her finger at him but he didn't respond "I mean it if you want me to be with you you will not harm them. You've done enough to Elijah" he sighed "I promise my love alright" he took her hand and kissed it "sorry to interrupt but news is marcel will be at the compound tonight for some date" Niklaus smiled "there is a daylight ring in your future Joshua" the boy smiled "now let's get going" he held his hand out for Skye and she took it "bye josh" she waved "see ya Skye" he waved back.
They headed to the church. Niklaus wanted to get father Kieran to convince Cami to leave town. Skye liked Cami but she understood she stayed in the car while klaus felt with it. She had the feeling he wouldn't be long and he wouldn't be nice so she called Hayley instead "hey how are you?" She asked quietly "I'm okay. Elijah is getting worse but I think that's a good thing. Maybe it means he'll be okay soon" she sighed "if he's near the end of it he's about to get very confused Hayley. It may be best for you to stay outside" she heard her sister sigh "I know I know. He keeps saying your name..." there was an awkward silence for a moment "and some woman named Celeste" Skye nodded at the name "she was an old flame of Elijahs. A witch. It don't end very well for her" Hayley sighed again in frustration "how's the asshat" Skye laughed "we're trying to get the compound back I believe. He promised a day for just us but we're just doing his errands. He better make it up to me. Especially after what he's done to Elijah, he will not be getting off easily" Hayley laughed "I'll let you know if anything happens okay stay safe Skye" she smiled "you too" she hung up and it was great timing because she saw Niklaus walking back out again "is it done" she said as he got in the car "yes my love Kieran will ensure cami leaves town and all is well" she nodded "now only one more stop then it's me and you my love" she smiled "good because you have a lot of making up to do Niklaus Mikaelson" she smirked as she used his full name "as you wish my dear"
They arrive at the compound but before she can get out he leans across and pulls her door shut again "what are you doing?" She asked confused "you are staying put...things could get ugly in there and I don't want you or my baby anywhere near it" she narrowed her eyes "you can't control me Nik" he smirked and left her in the car with a scowl but as soon as she thought him to be out of earshot she quietly opened the door and slowly walked to the archway of the place she used to call home she jumped when she heard crashing and yelling she ran in and saw the scene in front of her. Niklaus was knelt with chains around him and marcel and Rebekah were stood there marcel smiling and Rebekah near tears

"you will regret this! I will rip you all apart" he yelled as he pulled the chains and began ripping their necks open, she was in shock but was pulled out of it when she was grabbed by her neck and pinned to the wall "NOT HER!" both Marcel and Nik yelled but she snapped the vampires neck nonetheless causing them to head for her Niklaus grabbed them and began ripping into them but she was being held by her arms by two vampires "end this now Marcel! You and I both know Nik doesn't lose! Pick up the coin end this before all of your people die pointlessly!" She pleaded and marcel was growing nervous "let her go!" Marcel yelled and his men left her be "you want this. Fine" he looked at her before begrudgingly lifting the coin up "my allegiance now lies with you. What's mine is yours. You win" he pants in defeat and his men stand down but klaus simply runs straight to skye "are you alright?!" He held the sides of her face "I'm fine Nik don't worry" he held her face softly in his hands checking over her as an angry and disappointed ted marcel stood watching her face as she looked over to him with sympathy in her eyes. She was like a mother to him. And she could have gotten hurt. Because of him
