~Carlos' POV~

In a couple of days, my dad will be going back to war. My mother, even though my father has been doing this before me and my sister were born she still hates when my dad has to go out there. I've told the both of them I would like to join him but my mother said no. My dad being my dad, he's been teaching me how to shoot and fight. He's taught Elizabeth and I how to shoot when I was 9 and when she was 6.

Right now he's teaching us both how to fight, without my mother knowing. What a bad father huh?

"Zayn Malik!" My mother yelled.

"Yes darling?" My dad said, calmly.

"Don't darling me! I found this in our sons pillow!" My mother yells again. Her grip is tight on my arm. She held up a gun...yeah.

My dad gets up and looks at the gun. "Well, who's is it son?"

"You gave it to me.." I said, looking down.

My mother lets go of me and smacks my dad in the back of his head. "How many times have I told you?! If I find one more one under Carlos' or Elizabeth's pillow...I swear I will shoot you with it."

My dad chuckled as he walked closer to my mother, she backed away.

"Don't try to butter me up, Mr.Malik." My mother said, giving him the gun and walking up stairs.

My dad turned to me. "How the hell did she find this?"

"She was making my bed, even though I told her I would do it myself." I said. "Dad I'm sorry."

"It's alright but hide this in a better place." My dad said, handing me the gun.

"Ok, dad." I said, putting it in the back of my pants.

"You're mother means what she says." My dad chuckled. "But she'll hesitate."

"Mum would never shoot you dad." I said.

"We'll see if she finds that gun in you're room again." My dad said, walking up the steps and into his bed room.

Then I heard someone come down the steps. My sister.

"What happened this time? Did mum find the dagger in you're sock drawer?" Elizabeth asked.

"No...she found the gun under my pillow." I said, looking down.

"Wow." Elizabeth said, laughing.

"How the hell do you hide you're shit?" I asked.

"I have old clothes in a boxs, I keep them in there." Elizabeth smiled at me.

"Ugh, lucky you." I frowned, walking up the steps.

~Zayn's POV~

Natalia was really mad at me but what are they suppose to do when someone tries to hurt them and I'm not here? Natalia doesn't know how to shoot or to fight back. Which...I meant to teach her that a long time ago...

"Babe, I'm sorry." I said, sitting next to her on the bed.

"No you're not." Natalia said, pushing me away. "When ever I say not to do anything like to the kids or give them weapons, you do it anyway. And you even got Carlos wanting to be in the war."

"Natalia, as long as I'm with him nothing will happen to him." I said. "You know I would never let anyone hurt our children. I will kill them."

Natalia hugged me and nuzzled her face in my chest. "I forgive you."

I smiled.

"But if I find one in Elizabeth's room..me and you, alone." Natalia said.

"Me and you alone?" I smirked. "I'd love that. What are we gonna do?"

"You'll see." Natalia said.

"Can't wait." I said, smirking even more."

"Zayn, you have a dirty mind!" Natalia laughed.

I cupped Natalia's face and pulled her face closer to mine.

"That beautiful face of yours." I said.

"That handsome face." Natalia said, smiling.

I kissed her lips and laid her down. "Zayn what if Carlos or Elizabeth walks in?"

"They should have knocked, not my fault if they go blind because they don't know how to knock." I shrugged.

Natalia laughed and pulled me in for a kiss again.

~Carlos' POV~

I was sitting in Elizabeth's room because I was bored. Elizabeth had actually asked what happened before we were born. But I don't know about all the facts and she also wanted to know where I was born.

"Well, dad told me that I was born in a basket. . . during a war." I said, scratching my head.

"At least you were born in a better place, I was born in the car." Elizabeth frowned.

"Why are you two talking about where you guys were born?" We heard my dad come in.

"Just something I wanted to talk about." Elizabeth said. "Is it not ok?"

"I was just asking why." My dad said. "How is it that you don't get caught but you're brother does?"

"Because I keep my stuff in boxs where my old clothes are at." Elizabeth said.

"You should do that." My dad said. "I don't like it when she's mad at me."

"I don't know where to put them, I mean mum doesn't listen when I say I'll get my clothes, make my bed, and other things." I said.

"She loves you and she wants make you happy." My dad said.

"Dad." Elizabeth said.

My dad came in the room and sat on the bed with us. Elizabeth laid her head on his shoulder. "Yes, love?"

"Can you tell us about the war? Like how it was for you." Elizabeth asked. "You taught us to fight and shoot for a reason right?"

My dad sighed and smiled. "I taught you guys how to fight and shoot at young ages because what if I left for war and someone breaks in the house? I won't be here to help, so I wanted to teach you. I know you're mother can't shoot or fight. . . I was suppose to teach a long time ago but I never got the chance to."

"And the war. " My dad chuckled. "Oh I can remember the first time I've went out to fight like it was yesterday. I was about 20 something years, you're mother. . . I think 18. My two best friends died during the war, young men. The other two lived but got hurt badly. I woke up in a house, I was asleep for 3 days. You're mother was the one that took me in. She took care of me and made sure I was feed. The Russians were looking for me, they wanted me to be dead. When I was finally healed me and you're mother lefted and went to England where you're anuts and grandmother was at. It was hard for me to think about the war because my closet friends died but I had to suck it and get with my life. That's the one thing you have to do, don't look back on the bad things."

"You're mother was taken when the Russians came after me and they attacked England. So me, you're anuts and you're grandmother went to America. I had to go back to England and fight for you're mother but I was taken also. They beat me up and crap but I didn't really care. I didn't really care about my health in the war, when I finally got out . . .you're mothers water broke. So I had to coach her to give birth to you because we scared. After she was done, I carried her out the door and made our way to the boat. When we arrived at America I was hurt and woke up a after we came back from Lonodon."

"Is that it?" Elizabeth asked.

"No." My dad chuckled. "I wish I could tell you more but I think I would want to tell you when you're at least older."

Elizabeth frowned. "Dad. . .you said that when we were younger."

"I don't think you're ready for the rest yet, baby." My dad said. With that he left the room and closed the door.

"I am so ready." Elizabeth said, frowning.

"Oh stop, just wait." I said.

One day, we'll find out what really happened in the war with my dad. And one day. . .  .I'll join him.
