He was concerned. She had missed therapy for two weeks now and her friends had even located his apartment in order to look for her.
**********
"Are you Luke?""I am..." He replied whilst regarding the red haired girl and her black haired friend with confusion.
"Have you seen Lavender?" The black haired girl chocked.
Luke shook his head before realising that it obviously wasn't just him whom hadn't seen her, but her friends aswell. He invited the pair in and they all sat upon his couch. He learnt that the redhead was called Poppy and the black haired girl was called Violet. They hadn't seen her since Poppy's party, which was the same day that Luke had bought the cough drops. Violet stated that she had been in the company of some blue haired guy and Luke recalled seeing the boy walk from the store just as he entered. They were worried as she had not answered her phone to any of them and had even considered filing a police report.
"How long have you been seeing her?" Poppy asked him as she set her mug of tea down.
"We weren't dating. She offered me a deal. We would fuck basically. But our deal has been going on for about three months now." He replied softly.
"Ahh okay." Poppy replied.
The three had sat in eachothers company until the sun began to set, and even then they stayed put.
**********He spent a lot of time with Poppy and Violet. They called multiple ex-fucks to check that she wasn't with one of them and none of them had seen her. The three had become rather close in the short space of time in which they had known each other. On many occasions, the girls stayed at his flat. They stayed up late, desperately searching for her. Its was on a Tuesday that the three saw the blue-haired boy walking from the coffee shop they were about to enter. Poppy, being the boisterous, fiery lass that she was, stormed up to him and forcefully turned him to look at her. As Violet and Luke approached him, they could tell by his eyes that he was stoned or drunk, or both.
"Where the fuck is Lavender!" Poppy growled aggressively at him.
"I don't know who your talking about." He replied slowly and with obvious effort.
"Yes you fucking do! Two months ago, you came to my fancy dress party with a girl. She has lilac hair and blue eyes. You came with her mate so don't go fucking lying to me." Poppy fumed.
Again, Michael looked puzzled, simply shrugging before turning and walking away. Poppy went to follow him but was held back by Violet. Luke stormed in front of them and caught Michael by the arm.
"What the fuck dude?" Michael shouted as his coffee spilt a bit.
"Why do you have two coffees?" Luke asked him.
"One for me, one for my girlfriend."
"Does your girlfriend happen to have lilac hair and pale blue eyes?"
"Nope. Sorry mate, you've got the wrong guy".
However, they all knew that he was in fact the right guy and that he was indeed with Lavender. Luke could smell her floral perfume upon Michael's flannel shirt. He told the girls this and as they sat around a round table, they began to lay out the base of a plan.
"Okay, so Luke will just bust in there and save Lav'." Violet questioned.
"Basically yeah." Poppy shrugged.
Luke had agreed to whatever plan they concocted, hoping it would 'save' Lavender. He was bordering on desperate to see those powder blue eyes looking up at him. He laid in bed at night imagining her soft breathing next to him, her pale hand splayed across his chest and her hair tucked messily underneath her head. He had become rather fond of the nights they spent together.
"I'll do whatever it takes." He breathed.
Poppy smiled hopefully at him and he knew that he had to do this, if not for himself, if not for Lavender, then for Poppy and Violet. They were lost without her but he was determined to get her back. Tomorrow was the day that Luke would reconcile Lavender with himself and her friends.
**********He laid in his bed, the sheets bunched up around him. His anxiety had erupted, keeping him awake most nights. Cliché as it is, it had began to fade, the more time he spent with her. She knew of course, having the odd bought of anxiety herself every now and then. That was when they felt more than just fuck-buddys. She would kiss his face gently and rub small circles into his back as he gasped for breath. He needed her now. Large, hot tears burned paths down his cheeks, followed by a stream of others. His gasps racked at his chest, the fiery sensation unbearable. Sweat began to break out on his forehead as his vision began to shadow. He imagined her soft kisses and her soothing voice. She seemed to be right next to him as the worst passed. He opened his eyes, hoping her absence had just been a nightmare. It wasn't.
"For fuck sake." Luke almost screamed.
**********The bed was cold and empty next to him. Her perfume still lingered but even that had began to fade. His sleep had been restless, as always. He knew what today was. He jumped in the shower and left his hair wet as he pulled on a clean pair of skinny jeans and a T-shirt. Poppy and Violet were already awake, their hairs mussed and their eyes bleary. Although they were tired, the pair were soon prepped and ready to go get their friend.
**********The door loomed infront of Luke and with a shaky hand, he rapped his knuckles upon the wood. A sleepy, or drunk Lavender answered the door and looked pained to see whom was standing there.
"Who is it babe?"
