"Come to my party bitch!" A girl with cropped red hair sighed loudly.

"Okay okay!" Lavender giggled.

"You better be there!" She should over her shoulder as she walked out of the store.

Lavender looked around the confines in which she worked. Granted, it was only a few days per week but the atmosphere made her feel awkward. Mothers would haul their sick children in and ask for advice upon which medicine they should be given. Young girls would come in teary eyed and ask for the morning after pill, and with it, the would be given a free box of condoms. She would roll her eyes once they turned their backs. She was irresponsible, but never enough to warrant having to take the morning after pill. Today had been painfully slow and the sound of the door opening surprised her. A tall, muscular boy walked towards her. His hair was deep blue and he had an eyebrow piercing. He smelt of liquor but in a good way and he smiled sexily at her. He placed a box of condoms on the counter and she had to stop herself from rolling her eyes.

"Is that everything?" She asked politely.

"How about your number?" He smirked.

With little hesitation, she scribbled it down onto his receipt. She was used to being asked for her number and was never one to reject offers. Besides, he was hot. He winked before leaving the store. A text rang through her phone and she rolled her eyes.

"You roll your eyes too much."

The voice startled her but she recognised it immediately. Luke stood on the other side of the counter, leaning against the top.

"You missed therapy." He said softly.

"I was working. I miss every Thursday..." She replied with a shrug.

He seemed concerned but she ignored him and checked the text.

Wanna hang later? Its Michael.

From: Lavender
I have a party to go to. I'm sure you'd be more than welcome.

From: Michael
What time and where?

From: Lavender
In two hours (do the math) and meet me here.

From: Michael
Okay, see you in two hours at the pharmacy.

Luke cleared his throat and she looked up from her phone. He stood there awkwardly. He handed her a box of cough drops.

"Is that everything for you?" She asked politely, as practiced.

"Yes thanks." He replied quietly.

She handed him his change and placed his purchase into a bag before handing it over with a smile.

"Have a good day." She called after him as he virtually stormed from the store.

Again, her powder blue eyes rolled as she walked to the door and switched the sign from open to closed. She walked to the small washroom at the back of the store, reserved for employees, and changed out of her uniform. The walk home took her around ten minutes and once she arrived, she called Poppy on her mobile phone.
