why I'm leaving the classic rock fandom

I apologize in advance for writing a damn essay about this but I'm not gonna hold back here like I did on my Instagram post.

Not only did I start slowly getting burnt out on the fandom, I was also slowly starting to lose friends. One by one, people stopped talking to me. I know near the end of me being in the fandom, I was already starting to move on, so hey I get it. But a simple "hey how's it goin" doesn't hurt every once in a while.
  I know a lot of people stopped talking to me because I wouldn't hold back on what I believed in. And I still believe in those things, not of that has changed for me. But once again, just because we disagree on political issues doesn't mean I'm a horrible person. The people in this fandom (and a lot if I'm being completely honest) are way too damn sensitive.
I'm sorry that you disagree and you think it means we shouldn't be friends. Anyways...

  Another reason I decided to leave was a lil game you may have heard of called Mortal Kombat. I legit don't even know what happened. Me being in this fandom started with "hey I have MKX now, so I'm gonna see who's played through it" to "huh I wonder what Scorpion looks like without his mask on-" to "holy shit erron black" to "I wanna marry erron" to "wait but Subby's hot too" and now we've gone full circle and I'm at "holy shit erron black" again 😩👌😩👌oh also yeah I don't have MK11 yet bc  I'm waiting for all the dlc to be released and stuff hopefully I'll have it soon

Anyway that's all I really wanted to say, I guess, at least about why I left the fandom. It's a totally different thing when I feel like some of my friends from the rock fandom are judging me so fucking hard for moving on the way I did.

First of all, yes I understand they're not real. But they're a whole hell of a lot easier to interpret than real people and since they're not real, it's a lot easier to write them don't @ me. It's easier to bring a character to life in writing, when they're fictional.

Second of all, fuck off, they're hot idc what you say. Me thinking Fujin or Kabal are hot is no different than someone thinking Axl or Steven are hot, except mine just aren't real people. It's still fantasy. Either way, no matter which fandom I'm in, there's no way I'm getting my hands on any of them.

  I may not be able to reach out and hug Erron or Sub Zero, or Johnny, but I also can't reach out to hug Duff or Slash or izzy.

Fuck off, I don't see anyone judging anyone when they say Leon Kennedy is fucking adorable (don't @ me, he fucking is and you know it)
