Chapter 6

Rena ran after Jaemin as he angrily made his way to his room.

"Jaemin, I can explain!" She called out but was only met with him slamming his door shut. Upon hearing the commotion, Jaehyun and Haechan had followed them.

"What happened?" Jaehyun asked the two of them.

"He saw us leave your room together." Rena told him, sighing deeply. Jaehyun slowly nodded his head, understanding the situation.

"You two go get some real sleep, I'll explain to him later." Jaehyun told them as he put his arm around Rena, walking her out of the dorms.

"I hope he understands." Rena said to Jaehyun as they neared the doors.

"I'll talk to him, don't worry alright?" Jaehyun said, reassuring the girl.

"Everything is set and ready to go for the Initiation Mission." Taeyong announced. The group of mentors and leaders had gathered that morning to discuss the previous night's activities. The group consisted of Kun, Yuta, Ten, Doyoung, Winwin, Johnny, Taeil, Jungwoo, and Sejung. Jaehyun was excused from the meeting due to his state when he returned from their mission.

"We have received Cerberus' permission so we will continue using that location." Taeyong informed them in place of Jaehyun. He nodded towards Doyoung to continue.

"We have selected Jong Daewon as the target, considering there will only be two of them completing the mission this year." Doyoung said, pulling up Daewon's profile.

"Two? But there's three that haven't done it." Sejung pointed out. Taeyong looked towards Ten.

"Jimin won't be doing it. She's not ready for it." Ten told them. Sejung sunk back in her chair.

"So will there only be two for the mission?" Jungwoo asked. Taeyong nodded.

"Are there any other questions about the mission?" Taeyong asked them. They shook their heads.

"That's it from me, you are all dismissed."

"Jaemin, open up, it's me." Jaehyun said, knocking on the door. He heard shuffling on the other side of the door.

"I know you're in there." Jaehyun called again. Silence. Jaehyun inhaled deeply.

"Yah, Na Jaemin, I have better things to do with my life so if you don't open up right now, I swear-" Jaehyun's words were cut off by the door opening, revealing Jaemin with his black hood on his head, his hair messy, as if he had ran his hair through it a billion times.

"Come in." Jaemin said, widening the door. Jaehyun took a step in as Jaemin closed the door behind him before returning to his bed.

"Look, let me explain." Jaehyun started but Jaemin held his hand up.

"You were drunk, Rena came, brought Haechan to help." Jaemin said. Jaehyun slowly nodded as Jaemin sighed.

"Haechan already came and told me, its fine." Jaemin told him.

"What's wrong then?" Jaehyun asked, sitting beside Jaemin. As Jaemin's former mentor, the two of them had a tight bond.

"Jimin's not doing the initiation mission. She's not strong enough." Jaemin told him.

"That's rough, does she know?" Jaehyun asked. Jaemin shook his head.

"When she finds out, you should bring her to Haechan. He probably will know what to do." Jaehyun suggest.

"Yeah." Jaemin said, taking his hood off to run his fingers through his hair with a sigh.

"There's more isn't there?" Jaehyun asked. Jaemin nodded.
