"... but enough about that. How are things,,, with y'know, your,, kids? Is that what they are?" "......" "Hey are you even listening? America!" He flinched at the sudden raise in volume, his head snapping towards England. "Ah,," America shot out into the light, smiling brightly. "Of course not hahaha!!! Sorry to say but your stories are hella boring Iggy! Guess your just getting old hahahahaha!!!" "Shut it, git!" He rose his hand to hit America. The blond froze, his eyes going wide as he stared at the hand approaching him. "S-Sorry,,," he held up his arms over his face, trying to calm his breathing. He didn't mean to overreact. But it scared him. His chest ached as he laughed nervously. "A-Anyways what were you saying??" England stared at him in confused silence for a moment. "Uhhh, how is life with kids? You must understand the pain I went through raising you now! You should learn to be more grateful, being a parent is hard work!" England explained matter of factly, ignoring his concerns about the way America hid when he rose his fists.
America smiled more calmly at that. "It's great actually, I can't imagine not having them with me,,, really if they weren't here I would already be-" he got distracted looking out the window at Aurora talking with Ivan, a wide smile spread across her pink face. "You would be what?" England grabbed his attention once more. "Ah, it's nothing! I should probably mow before it gets too dark out! Don't wait for me!" He gave a peace sign and grin and skipped out of the dining room. England listened to the back door creak and slam shut, before frowning. He had never seen America react like that. Usually he just laughed and punched back way too hard, but that time he,,, England shook his head of those useless thoughts. "I shouldn't be concerned with him anymore, we don't have a personal relationship after all." He mumbled, convincing himself that America was fine and he didn't need to help him. He always convinced himself of that.
