It's the Little Things (One Direction Fan Fic)

"Babe, get up. You have a whole day to pack up." My mom walked over to my balcony and opened the window blinds.

"Oh, okay. Thanks. As if I didn't already know." I rubbed my eyes and slowly got up from my bed.

"Yay, we're going to California!" Alex came running into my room with Bubbles. "Yay!" I got up and grabbed Bubbles.

Alex is practically like my sister. Her parents aren't really here for her, so my mom took her in.

"Well, Cole's coming over in a few." I checked my phone and went to get ready.

I headed to the bathroom and took a cold ice shower to wake me up.

I quickly got out and changed.

I put on a loose knitted neon blue one sleeved shirt on with some ripped jean shorts.

I applied my makeup and ran downstairs. My mom and Alex were at the table eating.

"Your breakfast is ready." My mom put my plate down.

"Thanks." I sat down and ate my omelet.

"Cole's almost here. I checked your phone." Alex handed me my phone and laughed.

"Wow, really?" I took my phone.

"I'm going outside." I stood up and grabbed Bubbles.

It was hot outside. Georgia's pretty hot during the summer.

I walked over to the pool and sat down. I put my feet in the water.

I sat still petting Bubbles.

After an hour of thinking someone tapped me.

I suddenly jumped and turned around.

It was Cole.

"Hey babe." Cole picked me up and kissed me.

"Hi Cole." You got off him and smiled.

"Are you ready?" Cole sat down by the pool.

"Yeah, kind off." I put a frown on my face.

"Oh, it's gonna be fine Mary." Cole smiled and hugged me.

"But... I want you to come with me." I dug my face into his chest.

"Awe babe, I can't. I have football. I would if I could." I could tell by his voice he was upset.

"I know. I leave soon." I looked up to him.

"Come on. I'll help you pack." He stood up and grabbed my hand.

We walked inside into the kitchen.

"Hi Alex. Hi Mrs. Gray." Cole Smiled.

"Oh, hi honey." My mom turned from washing the dishes and smiled.

"Oh, it's you. Ew." Alex laughed.

"Alex!" I gave her a dead stare.

"I'm kidding!" Alex smiled.

"Come on." I pulled Cole and we went to my room.

He let go of my hand and sat on my bed.

I walked to my drawer and grabbed my suitecase next to the drawer.

I started grabbing everything I could.

Cole walked over.

"Here." He grabbed everything he could and put it in.

After about ten minutes we were done.

I got up and sat on my bed.

Cole got up and sat next to me.

"Cole, I don't wanna go without you." I started crying.

"Babe, don't cry. Your dreams are coming true. You have a great future ahead of you." He kissed my cheek.

"Still." I put my head on his shoulder.

Cole grabbed my chin and looked at me.

"I love you." He kissed me.

"Oh, stop kissing love birds!" Alex walked in.

"Let's go!" My mom came walking in smiling.

I pulled away from Cole's lips.

"Oh okay." I got up and grabbed all my belongings.

"Here." Cole grabbed all my stuff and headed outside to the car.

I followed behind him.

He put everything in the trunk.

My mom was helping him. Along with Alex. I got in the front seat.

I closed the door and opened the window.

My mom and Alex got in. Bubbles was already in.

"I love you." I grabbed Cole's hand.

"I love you more than anything babe." He frowned. He looked like he wanted to cry. He quickly put his head in and kissed me one last time.

All I could think was "This could be the last time."

"Bye babe." Cole pulled away and my mom drove off.

I managed a smile and waved goodbye to him.
