"hey mark," donghyuck said, rising up from his position on the bed, "i have a question."

the older looked away from his computer and took off his glasses. "what's up?"

"what made you realize that you liked me? like when was your awakening?"

mark gulped.

flashbacks of all the fanfictions he had read two months ago were now coming back into his mind, and he felt his face get hotter and hotter by the second.

he looked up at the younger hesitantly. "..do you really wanna know?"

mark braced himself for impact before telling him.

"fanfictions made me realize."

it took donghyuck a few seconds to process what mark had just said. "you— you—"

mark was slack jawed at the younger's great memory, and oh, it was ringing all the bells.

"how could i not remember that?" donghyuck laughed, "i was actually so convinced that you had a crush on someone else that night that i couldn't sleep."

mark was astounded. "really?"

"yes, really, you idiot. i'm relieved that it was about me, because i was about to throw hands at whoever you had a crush on," the tanned male huffed, crossing his arms.

mark was just relieved that donghyuck didn't hear him whenever he did that thing in the bathroom.

"oh, also," donghyuck added, "were you thinking about me the time that you jerked off in the bathroom at night?"

mark spat out his nonexistent water.
