"the dreamies just released their new music video!!" taeyong exclaimed, running downstairs faster than usain could, even if he tried. the stomping of his feet nearly scared the life out of johnny, who had been sitting on the couch below the staircase.
"HOLY CRAP!" johnny yelled, dropping his soda.
"again?" taeyong groaned.
"i didn't do it this time!" taeil said, raising his hands up to show that he was innocent. "pretty sure that it was uh.."
he gave up trying to put the blame on taeyong after the said male gave him a don't even try it look.
"guys i'm gonna open up youtube on the tv! get ready to watch it!" jungwoo hollered in the loudest voice he could muster. he found that the boom music video was the first thing to pop up in their recommendations.
mark was the first to sit down on the couch, jaehyun following and plopping down beside him shortly after.
"ooh mark are you excited?" he asked.
"yeah, i guess."
jaehyun was flabbergasted at the monotonous tone of mark's voice. "i GUESS? what the hell? you're gonna see your soulmate!"
"stop calling us that.." mark mumbled, feeling splashes of red blossom onto his cheeks.
"okay, whatever you say." the older chuckled, ruffling mark's hair.
"somebody wake yuta up, i'm not dealing with his filthy ass." doyoung demanded as he walked into the living room, massaging his temples furiously as he tried to de-stress himself.
"oh i know a trick that'll wake him up.." johnny snickered. he rubbed his hands together like some sort of greedy villain. everyone knew that the idea in seo's mind was most definitely nothing short of evil.
taeyong facepalmed. he was starting to lose his sanity, as well as his respect for the other members. taeyong could care less about yuta at this point, so he gave permission to johnny. "well then, do it! we need to start watching this as soon as possible."
"alright, ahem, ahem." johnny started,
"YUTA! SICHENG IS HERE!"
yuta came down even faster than taeyong did. the only difference was that he came down the stairs facing sideways like a crab, looking left and right frantically for sicheng.
"WHERE? WHERE? BABY WINWI-"
"just kidding! man we just wanted to wake you up."
"oh fuck you, FUCK ALL OF YOU." yuta grumbled. he held up a fist and shook it in front of johnny's face, not even scaring the older one bit.
"maybe if you didn't hop down the stairs like a crustacean, i would be a little intimidated." johnny laughed, slapping yuta on the back playfully, getting a grunt in return.
"can you all just shut up and watch the goddamn music video already?" doyoung hollered from down below where he sat on the floor.
"wait, lemme get haechan on here first." mark suddenly remembered, turning his phone on faster than the speed of light.
yuta scoffed. "of COURSE he has to video call his boyfriend when we watch it huh of cOURSE-"
" stop being so grumpy, yuta hyung. " haechan said on the other line.
"humph."
jungwoo pressed the play button, and all eyes were on the tv screen.
"waw.." johnny sighed in astonishment, even though it had only been two seconds.
" work! "
"oi oi oi!" mark screamed.
" even the sound of my breath is like music on stage
my sweat drops are like heavy rain to you "
"jeno yahhh!" doyoung hollered, extremely proud of his nojam baby.
" always hot and shine, ride on stage "
" JAEMIN AH! " haechan screamed even though he had already seen the video.
" your eyes will react before your eyes "
"JISUNG!" taeil chanted.
"oh m-"
mark was cut off by haechan's sudden appearance.
" we're getting overheated right now, no time to just sit there and play "
a collective "YAHH!" came from each of the members as haechan smiled proudly.
taeyong paused the music video and turned to look at 127's maknae on the phone.
"waw haechannie so handsome!"
"what happened to cutie cutie haechan?" taeil asked playfully.
" cutie cutie is all grown up now! " hyuck exclaimed.
"now he's a hottie hottie.." mark mumbled unconsciously, still slack-jawed from the music video.
" what was that, mark hyung? "
all the members ooooo'd at mark's little utterance.
"hey! it was an accident." the melon lover defended, face redder than you could imagine.
" you love me, mark hyung, don't deny it. "
