Bar chords

Bar chords are when you hold down more then one string at once using one finger. This is called barring.

F

Barring first fret, all strings and ring on A3, pinky on D3 and middle on G2.
B minor

Barring all strings on second fret and ring on D3, pinky on G3 and middle on B2.
Gm (G minor)

Barring third fret all strings and ring on A5, pinky on D5.

Cm (C minor)

Barring third fret, all strings. Middle on B4, ring on D5, pinky on G5.

There are many more but these are the ones that tend to be in songs more.
