Hey guys, so it's been a while but what I've taught you in this book is basically everything you need to know as a complete beginner. Of course, there are some things that I just can't write down in a book like strumming exercises and slapping and thumping techniques etcetera and so what I'm gonna do quickly is recommend some good YouTube channels for that kinda stuff.
Gareth Evans/Goliath Guitar (for percussive lessons and fingerstyle)
Marty Schwartz (MartyZSongs) - the real beginner stuff but he really is a great guitarist
Mahalo - tutorials
GuitarJamz - Marty Schwartz also does this one by the way
Etcetera. You get the point.
Now getting to the point of this part.
Fingerstyle is a skill where you do fancy fingering on the strings when you're plucking so it sounds like you're strumming and picking individual notes. It uses things like arpeggio and it sometimes just depends on talent. I'm going to suggest some fingerstyle guitarists that you should check out and yeah...
Sungha Jung - AMAZING
Gareth Evans (he also does tutorials for his covers)
Peter Gergely
Kelly Valleau
Andrew Foy
Andrew Van De Meer (I think that's his first name I actually can't remember... :/ )
And there are loads more but these are my personal favourites - they are all so talented and it's just...wow.
