I raced out of the Manor and back to Marinette's class. When I saw Lila I stormed over, my temper flaring.
"Lila Rossi!" I called out. I saw Dick in the corner watching, along with Jason and Tim. I glared at them, trying to signal them to stay out of it. Lila turned towards me and gave me a sly smile.
"Damian! Did you dump Marinette?"
When I got closer I gripped her wrist hard. She squealed slightly and jumped back. "Your going to confess to ever. single. lie you told this class about her and all the famous people. Now." I was done watching. I love Marinette..... I froze ever so slightly. I just admitted it. Wow. I'm in deep crap.
"And why should I do that? She is just a goody goody, and got in my way." Lila whispered so only she and I could here. But I made a sour face and tightened my hold on her wrist she shrieked and tried to pull back. I wasn't done yet.
"Admit it. Now. You don't know Jagged Stone, Prince Ali, Clara Nightingale, do you? Do You?!"
"Your right I don't know them, I'm just making sure I get what I want. I want control, and you Damian Wayne, aren't going to stop me. I have my claws in deep. Like I did last time. I got rid of the one person that could take me down. Marinette was weak when it came to her friends. So I took them away." She smirked at me. But mine was bigger.
I pulled out my phone and played the recording of our conversation for the whole class to here. They gasped. I walked over to Dick and smiled. I sent the recording to him. He simply chuckled then hugged me. I shoved him away rudely. Not that open yet. Or ever!

Galas were my least favorite, but this time I want alone. Marinette's are was wrapped around mine, and I smiled lovingly at her. She kissed me and we headed to the dance floor. Then Adrien came over and shoved me out of the way.
"M'lady, you didn't think I would let you get away did you?"
Marinette glared at him, I stood and placed myself between him and Marinette.
"Leave. Now. You weren't invited." I growled
Adrien simply chuckled, then stared at Marinette "I want Plagg back."
"Not happening. Plagg isn't your to own. Now leave. Don't make this an ugly thing." She said back with so much force, I nearly stepped out of the way. Nearly.
"Nope, Plagg belongs to me." He lunged, but Mari was ready. I held him in place and she sent a deadly punch to his head. He was out in an instant.
Chloé and Jason rushed over. Chloé pulled Marinette into a hug, and Jason helped me drag Adrien away.

When that was done, and Father was making a speech, I played with the little box inside my pocket. Audrey was standing next to the punch bowl, and Chloé and Jason were nowhere to be seen. I smirked and pulled Marinette outside and into the garden.
"What's going on Damian?" She asked when we made it to the center of the garden.
I kissed her cheek and told her it was a surprise. She groaned and leaned against me. We were in the same place we first talked. My arms trailed down her arm as I stepped away.
"Marinette's, Angel, I want to tell you this, but I thought I'd wait for something special. You are amazing. Your beautiful, and cheerful, and you make me feel things I wasn't sure I was capable of feeling. Your the one thing I look forward to seeing everyday." I got down on one knee and smiled when she gasped "Will you do me the honor, of marrying me?" I pulled out the box and opened it.
