"I might have to try this myself next time," you chuckled, painting a black smiley face on Harry's yellow nail. You and him had been sitting alone at a table on the tour bus. "Usually I just do plain colors."

"I can paint them for you if you'd like," Harry offered, softly smiling at you.

You smiled back, the way he looked at you making your cheeks feel warm.

A common thing that happened the more time you spent with Harry on his tour.

You were always smiling around him.

Which perfectly matched his nails.

"Mail!" a roadie shouted, walking down the aisle of the tour bus before plopping a large bag of mail right at Harry's feet. "There's one for you," the roadie stated, handing you a light blue envelope.

"Thanks," you stated, taking the paper. "Do you mind?" you asked, glancing from Harry's nails to the letter.

"No, go ahead," he encouraged, resting back into the seat and letting his nails dry. "Who is it from?"

"My brother," you smiled, eyeing down the paper full of ink.

"Oh, yeah. You've got an older brother," Harry remembered, but didn't know much about him.

"Yeah," you murmured, grinning widely as you read each word. "He says that he's adjusting well," you told Harry.

Harry didn't understand.

"He was drafted a few years ago for Vietnam. He's been home for a while though, just before the war ended. I saw him a few times before I came on tour with you. But he says he's doing okay," you smiled. "He said he's been going to the beach a lot."

"Your brother fought in Vietnam?" Harry asked.

"Yeah," you nodded. "It was hard on all of us when we found out he was drafted." You cleared your throat, remembering that specific day. It had been a draining one. And the weeks that followed after. There was more to the story, but you didn't want to talk about it. "What about you?" you chuckled, digging around his bag of love letters and handed him one.
