***January 31, 1977***
Harry felt his body being lifted from the pool.
Hands grabbing at his skin and clothes.
His eyes blurred from the water that stained them.
His ears muffled from the water pouring into them.
It was the abrupt slam of his body against the wall that awoke all of his senses, removing the light numbness from his body.
A crowd of people gathered around him, making his breathing even harder to find.
"What were you doing in there?" Rocky shouted, grasping onto Harry's soaked shirt. "Are you trying to kill yourself?"
Rocky was soaked from head to toe, just as Harry was. Indicating he had gone in to save Harry.
"No," Harry spoke under his tired breath. His eyes fluttered open and closed. Then a soft chuckle escaped his lips. "I did it to feel alive."
Harry sat there with his back against the wall. His soaked clothes clinging onto his body. Droplets of water falling from the ends of his hair. His breathing uneven.
His head fell slightly forward as he continued trying to get his breathing pattern back. Thinking of what he had just done.
