Thursday, what a ride.

There would be separate routines depending on the weather. Because it had been raining for two days, a little less than that, and the sun was out, the air had become sticky. The customer rate had slowly went back to normal after the sudden drop during the rain.

It was 08:30, thirty minutes after the cafe's opening. It goes from 08:00 to 22:00. Because of the time, the workers are allowed to go to the back whenever they feel tired or whenever they have work or schoolwork to complete. But no matter what, there almost always has to be one person at the ordering counter.

Today Taehyung was at the ordering counter. Jimin was at the back with the rest of the workers to rest, so it was just him outside, ready to work and make the customers satisfied. Umm, not like that, with the food. Duh.

He heard the bell and looked over to see who it was, and he couldn't believe it.

Jungkook?

The boy walked over to the counter. He looked...upset? No, tired. Maybe both. Either way, it made Taehyung worry.

"Jungkook, are you alright?"

He nodded. "I'll just get a banana milkshake."

"Okay!" Taehyung's goofy self had returned shortly and he started to get to work. Something at the back of his head told him the boy was stressed, and he knew exactly what to do to help.

"That'll cost 6,000 won." Jungkook handed him the money and went over to find a table in the cafe.

Taehyung started to make the milkshake, along with another treat.

When the order was completed, he placed it on a tray and carried it towards Jungkook, who looked at the table with his head rested on his palm.

"Here's your order." The male placed it down in front of the customer.

When Jungkook looked at the food, his expression turned to confusion as he looked back up at Taehyung.

"Ummm, I didn't order a cookie..." He said while pointing at the chocolate chip cookie sitting on top of a white napkin.

"I know!" Taehyung replied with a smile. "You looked upset so I decided to give you a free cookie. Consider this as an apology for me and Jimin hyung's behavior, we won't act like that again."

Taehyung bowed after speaking. Jungkook looked back at the cookie for a moment before smiling at the waiter, which made Taehyung die a little on the inside.

"Thank you." Taehyung nodded a million times.

"Your smile makes you look like a bunny."

Jungkook widened his eyes once again as he felt blush creep up onto his face. "U-Umm, I- Thank you?"

"No problem, Kookie." Was the last thing Taehyung said to him before taking the tray and walking back to the counter.

Kookie... what a cute nickname.
