"There is god, and there are
the Peaky Blinders."

━ ◦ ❖ ◦ ━

Billy Kimber was a dead man, carried by his own men to get buried 6 feet underground. His only friends now were worms and other insects.

Thomas hasn't given Kimber's death any attention because he had other business to deal with, other problems to solve. But what he didn't expect was for one of Kimber's loyal men to strike back.

It was a rainy Thursday when Thomas got unexpected news. Polly has called, her calm voice desperately trying to get Thomas to go to the Garrisons to meet her. It was unusual for Polly to call. She liked to talk in person, and so Thomas grew curious.

When he arrived at the Garrisons, he couldn't believe his eyes. A man, who he recognized as Cecile, hung from a large wooden stick, dead. Polly handed Thomas the note she found near the now dead body of the Peaky Blinder.

You're next, Shelby.

Polly repeatedly said, that this was threat. She was worried about her nephew, but Thomas wasn't fazed. He wasn't sure  which man wanted his death, he had quite a lot of enemies. Yet, he decided to stay calm, not reacting to the thread.

He was just another man, traumatised by recent events and wanting revenge on the first person that came on his mind.

Nonetheless, Thomas did his research.

He found out, that Kimber's men formed a rebellion against the Peaky Blinders, with a man named George Sawyer at the top. The rebellion was formed before the war, when Kimber was having issues with a Londoner gang. The two rivals joined forces in 1918, shortly after the war ended. The loyalty between these people was strong.

Mr. Sawyer earns his money by attacking poor families, occasionally forcing mainly women to join his dangerous journey to satisfy his sexual needs.

One of his most dangerous events was the attack on a wealthy family from London in 1910. The expansion to Birmingham and the following deal wasn't taken well, and Mr. Sawyer had to get the family out of his way. But when the 15 year old daughter caught his eye, he couldn't help but force for her to come along his side.

But for this current time, he was after the Shelby's money. Money and Thomas's death.

Thomas forgot about George, he never saw him as a threat. But George's rebellion never completely left his mind. His rebellion got stronger each day without the Shelbys noticing.

George thought, that he had the perfect plan to sabotage the Shelby's and take Thomas's life just like he took Billy's. He never thought, that anyone in his rebellion would betray him, especially the person he called his angel.
