SUNDAY
"if I see that bitch on the streets
I'll fucking cut her"━ ◦ ❖ ◦ ━
As soon as they heard car sounds, John left the Garrison with y/n in his arms and Arthur by his side. Thomas left along with Ada through another exit.
"Arthur and I will be there tonight,
Thomas said he has a plan."John held the door open, so that y/n could get in quicker. As if he was able to read her mind, he knew that she craved his presence near her. She looked at him, still scared but now nervous about the plan Thomas had. His hand holding hers brought her the comfort she needed most.
"Be careful, John.
Don't do anything stupid"Y/n slowly let go of his hand, listening to Finn starting the car. She had recognised him as soon as she looked to her right. He started driving quickly through Small Heath, silence drifting around the air like smoke from a cigarette. Finn drove around like he attended a race, needing the price desperately.
It wasn't until they left Small Heath that y/n wanted to start a conversation.
"Do you what will expect us in London?"
Finn took a quick look at y/n, signalising that he was listening but concentrating on the road ahead of him. He wasn't going to let a car crash ruin this plan.
"Not really. I was told, that two men will meet us and they will lead us to some house we're supposed to wait in."
Y/n nodded, not really knowing how to answer. Nonetheless, her mind was full with questions about the Shelby's. The past few weeks had been exciting, yet she didn't know anything about how the Shelby's were behind their business facade. She wanted to discover things that weren't written in the papers.
"What's your story?"
Finn was confused about her sudden interest, but since his brothers got all her attention already, it was his time to shine.
"What's there to say? I'm the youngest Shelby. Arthur and Polly mostly raised me and kept me out of the business."
"Not that story. I already knew this one. Sawyer did his research and I swiftly read a few papers. I want to know something about what the papers didn't tell me."
Finn was surprised by what y/n said. She knew the foundation, but not what's further up the building. And so he told her about his childhood, especially how it was growing up with as a Shelby. Y/n was surprised at how much impact a last name had, but she listened carefully to his stories.
