The event was
going as planned.

Y/n had already seen Ada and other Blinders working as servants, offering drinks and polite smiles to people that soon were going to experience a giant shock. Everything went according to plan.

Y/n hasn't been lazy as well. Sawyer made sure of that by keeping her occupied with, in her opinion useless, tasks. No matter if it was serving him whiskey or being the pretty decoration next to him, she had a smile on her face and a glass in her hand.

Yet still, through all of that chaos, Ada and y/n kept in contact in form of eye contact and secretive head movements. Last time the two met, Ada said, that if y/n wanted the plan to fully start, y/n had to nod. And even though y/n was ready, she let them wait. Her hesitation laid within her nervousness.

It wasn't until 6pm that y/n decided that now was the right time. Every guest has arrived, the room was filled with small talk and laughter. The only thing missing was Ada. Y/n understood how busy she must've been because of all the guests, but her heart beat faster as soon as she saw Ada looking at her. Even though the glance had to be kept short, it gave y/n a lot of insight.

Ada had a smile on her face: everything went alright with the serving Blinders.

There were two empty glasses and a full one on her tablet: her services were taken well, many of the sponsors here were enjoying themselves. No one would expect for the Peaky Blinders to show up.

But most importantly, y/n had nodded slightly: she was ready to attack. All that was missing was y/n's agreeing head movement.

And with one head movement, the death of a man was confirmed.

Ada hasn't come unprepared. It surprised y/n, even though she had to expect such thing from a Shelby. Ada walked towards the man, whose death was just decided, offering him her best smile. She leaned down and whispered something in his ear, followed by him nodding. She quickly got a small bag out of her pocket and placed it in front of him.

He was ready to play in the snow.

"What are you staring at?"

Sawyer suddenly asked, making y/n shiver. Blood started to give y/n's cheeks a pink complexion. Sawyers angry eyes contributed to y/n's nervousness.

"T-there was a g-guest... I-"

"You thought he was handsome, didn't you?
Didn't know I had a whore in my possession.
Might as well punish you for you behaviour."

Y/n's eyes grew wide. She wasn't fond of his dirty talk, especially when he mentioned punishments. His view of punishments weren't seductive. They were as pleasant as punches in the stomach.
