Double or Nothing
Tonight was Double or Nothing and John was warming up and talking backstage with Omega and Hero until they walked off. While John was alone a visibly angry Penelope walked up to him
Penelope: Thanks a lot for ruining my relationship with Simon
John: You ruined your relationship when you tried to kiss me
Penelope: Well I don't want Simon anymore but I want you
Kris ran up to John
Kris: Hey John. Olivia is still bothering you?
John: Yep
Penelope: Oh shut up
Kris: Olivia he does not like you
Penelope: He does and no one asked for your opinion
John: I don't like you so back away from me
Penelope: Ugh whatever!
Penelope walked off
Kris: She does not learn
John: Yep
John looked at Kris and couldn't help but notice how pretty she looked
John: You look really pretty tonight
Kris blushed and smiled
Kris: Thanks and so do you
John: I appreciate that but you look amazing all the time
Kris blushed even more which caused John to smile
John: Your face is very red
Kris: I know. Anyway I wanted to wish you luck tonight in your tag match
John: Thanks. Do you have a match tonight?
Kris: No but I will face the women's champion by the end of the night on Dynamite for the title
John: Nice. It looks like I'm up next
Kris: Wait. Before you go could you take this
Kris pulled out her elbow pad from her pants pocket
John: Sure
John took it and put it on his right arm
John: How does it look?
Kris: It looks great on you
They hugged before John walked off. Kris went to her locker room to watch the match
38 minutes later
John and Chris were going back and forth with the Lucha Bros. Ultimately John and Chris hit a double rolling elbow on Pentagon and Rey before Omega nailed the One Winged Angel on Pac 1!2!3! The team celebrated before going backstage
Backstage
When John got backstage Kris walked up to him and hugged him tightly
Kris: Nice win tonight! That was awesome!
John: Thanks
Kris: No problem and I'm happy that you won tonight
John: Thanks. Your so kind.
Kris smiled
John: Anyway I was wondering if you are doing anything after the show?
Kris: No I'm free
John: Ok because I was wondering if-
Priscilla walked in with Darby
Priscilla: We are going a bar even though Darby is a straight edge
John: Just like me
Priscilla: Weak. Anyway Kris do you want to join us?
Kris: Sure
Priscilla: Well me and Kris are gonna get drunk whilst you two just watch without drinking
Kris: I don't know about the drunk part
Darby: That is what makes us straight edge
John: Agreed. Catch you guys later
John walked to the locker room and took a shower. After his shower he put on casual clothes and watched the rest of the show. Nyla retained her title against Riho in which Kris walked down the ramp and had a stare down with her. Moxley defeated Brodie Lee to retain the AEW world championship and Cody beat Lance Archer for the TNT championship. After the show John,Kris,Priscilla and Darby went to a bar. Priscilla drank a lot and Kris drank a little and partied. Afterwards they got dinner and called it a night. Priscilla and Darby left leaving Kris and John
John: Well it's just me and you Kris
Kris: Yep and I'm getting tired
John: You wanna go to a hotel? There is one nearby and it's rated pretty good
Kris: Can we walk?
John: Yeah we can
Kris: I wouldn't want to have it any other way
John smiled before they began walking to the hotel. They talked and laughed while walking. They encountered some fans and took pictures and signed some things. Kris and John walked by a store before Kris begged John to go with her
Kris: Pretty please
Kris pouted
John: Ok let's go and what do you want anyway?
Kris: Candy
John: Don't get a sugar rush
They got in the store and Kris got her candy before they exited. They continued to walk. John put his arm around Kris which made her smile. She did the same as they got to the hotel. They went to their room and laid in their beds. John watched Kris untie her hair which she pretended that she didn't see him looking. John could only think of how beautiful Kris is. John would then turn out the light and lay back in bed
John: Goodnight Kris
Kris: Goodnight John
The two went to sleep enjoying the night they had together
