You woke up to your mother shaking you. With a worried face, you knew something was wrong. You later found out that your grandmother wasn't doing too well, and that your parents booked a last minute emergency flight to Maine. Not knowing how to react, you asked whether if you were also going. They then told you that they made arrangements for you to stay at your cousin Luke's house on the other side of town. You then proposed the idea of staying over "a friend's house". Naturally, they asked who it was and you told them it was the neighbor two houses down. They agreed that it was okay for you to choose whether you wanted to stay at your cousins our at Jason's house so long as you told them where you decided to stay and kept them updated every morning and night. They then left your room and packed. After that, they grabbed their bags and headed out the front door. They hugged you and you waved goodbye as they backed out of the driveway and drove off. You then called Jason to ask him whether or not you could stay at his house for a while. Once you pressed the call button, Jason picked up the phone before the it rang the second time. "Can you come over?", he asked excitingly. "Um sure, I'll be there in a few", you responded nervously. When you got over to his house, the door was open and he was in the living room with Apollo. Jason saw you and said, "Look at this, I taught Apollo how to fetch." He threw the dog toy, and Apollo ran across the room and came back with the toy. Apollo came running back to you and dropped the toy at your feet and started licking your pants. "Apollo is so smart" he said. "You're a good trainer" you responded. "Thanks", Jason responded as his cheeks turned a little red. "So um, is everything okay with your family?", he asked. "Not really...", you responded.
