Part 2: Lost and Found

The voice called for Chevy again. You turned around and you saw a figure running towards you. You were alarmed and stood in front of Chevy to protect him. "Thank you for finding my dog! He was missing all morning. I don't know what I would do if I lost him", he said. "Who are you?", you asked after you introduced yourself. "I'm Jason, Chevy's my dog", he responded as he hugged and kissed Chevy. "You come to the river often?", he asked. "I'm usually here since i live right there", as you pointed in the direction of your house. "Why haven't I seen you before? I literally live next to you" he said jokingly while he pointed at the red house that was two houses over from yours. "I guess you just never noticed me", you responded in a joking way. Before you started to think if you made things awkward, Jason asked if you wanted to hang out at his house for awhile. "Sure!", you immediately responded without sounding desperate. When you both got back to his house, you both sat down in the living room and he asked if you wanted anything to eat or drink. You blushed and said "I'm fine thank you". After talking for a while, your phone suddenly rang.
