'After Mr. Andrews' funeral, the rest of summer vacation passed in a surreal haze. Betty, Veronica, Mila, and I spent as much time as we could with Archie. We had dinner at Pop's every night. And every day you could tell he was getting better and better. I'm not saying he wasn't still heartbroken, the entire town was, but my pal Archie's a fighter. And by the last day of summer vacation, while the football field was being mowed for the new season, and the school floors were being buffed to a shine, and banners for the first dance of the year were being hung, Archie was doing what he does best.'

"So mom missed another check in with you?" Betty asked and She and Mila were with Charles.

"Yes." He sighed, Mila frowning. "But like i said, don't panic. This isn't the first time she's been late with the reports." He assured.

"Well, Charles, what is that means she's been found out?" Betty huffed.

"Listen, until she contacts us, you two need to just focus on being high school students. I'll reach out if anything changes." Mila opened her mouth to ask about her brother like she did every time she and Betty met with Charles, "And no, Mila, there's nothing new on your brother. I'm sorry." Mila sighed, slumping back against the wall.

"Come on, M, let's get going," Betty said with a small smile, taking the brunette's hand.

"Where's Betty, M?" Veronica asked.

"With her brother." She shrugged, Betty had ditched the group hangout, saying she needed to talk to Charles about their mom, and she said she didn't want to fifth wheel, making Mila laugh.

"Well, you know, i really can't imagine a better way to spend our last night of summer vacation, Isn't it crazy?" Veronica sighed as she sat on Archie's lap. "In just nine months, life as we know it will be over. No more high school."

"No more pictures for the blue and gold." Mila sighed, looking down at Jughead. "No more plotting our next big high school take over."

"Oh, M, who knew you could get so sappy." Veronica smiled, Mila playfully rolling her eyes.

"Sorry, I'll go back to being stone cold." Mila chuckled. "But really, life goes by so fast. And none of us were good at savoring it." Mila looked down at Jughead, smiling. "But we well tonight." Jughead hummed, pulling Mila closer to him, the two starting to make out.

Veronica looked over to Archie, "I think that's our cue, Archiekins." They leaned in to kiss, getting up and walking out of the room. Mila and Jughead noticed the two walking out, Mila chuckling. She adjusted herself, straddling him. Jughead gripped her thighs as she moved against him. His hands slip up, pulling her shirt off. She quickly pulled his off, the two quickly standing, Jughead pulling Mila to him again.
He spun her around, pulling her back to his chest, kissing down her neck as he unbuttoned her skirt. He moved them to lay down, resting between her legs, moving back to her lips. Her hand trailed down his chest to his belt buckle quickly taking it off.
He moved his hand down, resting on her inner thigh as he kicked off his jeans.

Mila gasped lightly as he bit her lip, his hand moving down further. In that moment, it was all about them.
