Breakfast was silent the next day. Mila just stared at the table, the spot next to her empty, Jughead's spot. The phone rang, making the brunette jump slightly. "I'll get it." Mila muttered, standing up and walking over to the phone. "Hello?"
"Hi, is Betty Cooper there?"
"One moment, Betty, it's for you." Betty furrowed her brows, getting up and taking the phone. Mila walked back over to the table, slowly sitting down.
"This is she." Alice stood up, walking over to Betty. "I understand. Thank you." Betty started to cry, Mila not moving.
"Honey, what's wrong?" Alice asked. Betty turned around, hugging Alice. Mila looked up to Betty who gave her a look, Mila knew exactly who it was, it was Yale. Mila took a shaky breath, standing up and running upstairs. Betty was taking Jughead's spot.

Mila walked into Pop's picking up and order, she was engulfed in a hug, freezing when she noticed familiar red hair, Cheryl. "Oh, Mila," Cheryl cooed, "I am so, so sorry." Cheryl pulled away from Mila, "I see your curse has finally caught up to you and that i know have a rival as teen queen of Tragedy."
"I don't want it." Mila muttered, taking her bag of food. Cherly gave the brunette a small smile, Mila giving an awkward one back.
"Promise me you won't do it." Cheryl begged, taking Mila's hand quickly.
Mila gave Cheryl a slightly confused look, shaking her head. "Do what exactly?"
"Take your own life." Cheryl whispered. Mila frowned shaking her head, "We all know you and Jughead were Riverdale High's Hamlet and Opheila. And i personally know what it's like to lose your other half." Cheryl explained sadly. Mila gulped, nodding. "The desparing thoughts can flood without warning. Don't let them drown you." Cheryl pleaded.
"Don't worry, I'll be fine." Mila said shakily. She moved to leave the diner, Cheryl stepping in front of her again.
"Nevertheless... from now on, Mila James, you're under suicide watch." Cheryl said assuriningly. "Consider me your constant shadow."
"No thanks." Mila deadpanned. "No, thank you." She sighed. "My brother's already up my ass and, Betty's mom and documentary." Mila said shaking her head. "I really... I'm fine." Mila huffed.
