Mila frowned as the tape started, an image of the house showing on the screen. "What... what is this?" Alice frowned.

"Fast forward." Charles frowned, crossing his arms. Alice picked up the remote, fast-forwarding, the image stays the same except for cars passing by every once in a while.

"It's literally six hours...of our house." Betty sighed. The three teens had stayed up, watching it, but it had stayed the same, it was the Cooper-Jones house.

"Why would somebody do that?" Alice scoffed. "Film it, and then leave the evidence on the front doorstep?"

"To unsettle you." Charles sighed. "Let you know you're being watched."

"But why a videotape?" Mila asked, looking back at Charles, "Something so anachronistic?"

"Maybe it's just a prank." Fp shrugged.

'If it was... it was an elaborate one. Over the next few days, then weeks, more and more citizens of Riverdale received copies of similar tapes, footage of their houses being watched from across the street, for hours upon hours. No messages were included with the videos, which somehow made the whole thing even more disturbing so that by Halloween the entire town was on edge. Who would et the next tape? What did they mean?

Were they a warning? A test?'

Mila sighed as Fp got a report of another tape being sent out. It was now Halloween and it had only gotten freakier. "Who was it this time?" Mila asked as Betty came and stood next to her.

"The Muggs'." Fp frowned.

"Oh, I'll get over there and get an interview with him for tonight's broadcast." Alice beamed. Mila and Betty shared a look. slightly frowning. "That's the fringe benefit of living with the Sheriff. I get the inside scoop before any other reporter." Fp hummed, leaning in to kiss Alice, Mila cringing at the sight.

"Hey, M, is Jug still coming home for Halloween?" Fp asked.

"Yeah, we're gonna go to the community center to help out Archie." Mila smiled, "Are you sure you don't wanna come B?"

Betty shook her head, "No," She chuckled, "I'd rather hand out candy with V." She smiled.

"Suit yourself."

"Oh, why don't you invite your brother?" Alice smiled.

Betty and Mila shared another look. Betty sighing. Since they had rescued the people from the farm, Betty hadn't really talked to Charles much.

"Half-brother." Betty corrected.

Alice sighed, giving betty a look. "Charles doesn't know anybody in town." Alice excused.

"Okay, well, why is he still in town?"

"He's helping me with the tapes and a couple of other cases." Fp explained.

"It's the one good thing that came out of the nightmare." Alice smiled, "It brought the entire family together." Alice said, smiling at the girls. Since Mila had helped her get out of the farm, Alice had been on a kick now where she also considered Mila family, Fp had always thought of her as a daughter and now Alice was there too.
