#22 Stay By My Side

Amber's POV

I could hear them calling and yelling my name telling me to not do this

But I know that I have to face them for the very last time...

I faced them and forced myself to smile at them reassuring that I will be okay; Which I know that I'm not and I'll never be, At least without them.

I mouthed 'goodbye' as I entered the van. Nakita kung marahas na pinasakay nila si Hailey sa van, I hope she's gonna be okay. At sisigaraduhin ni Zach that she is safe kundi he will experience the wrath of a devil.

I know that I am Zach's weakness at hanggang sampal lang siya. He can point a gun at me but I know for sure that he couldn't pull the trigger.

I even heard him kagabi shouting at himself because he shot me. I even heard some things broke and punches on the wall. Last night was the worst slumber anyone could've experience. I think na mas comportable ako in a bed with snakes than sleeping in a comfy and big room knowing that I'm getting married to someone that caused me trauma before. The bed was comfy and I'm glad that Zach respected my privacy at hindi niya ako pinilit to sleep in the same room as him.

The reason why I stopped Ryu from pointing a gun at Zach instead of stopping Zach is because what he said in the van earlier nang parating pa kami sa mansyon.

FLASHBACK

"Remember, I can't kill you but I can always kill your friends" He said out of the blue.

I don't kung saan kami pupunta, he just ordered a maid to wake me up and made me breakfast in bed, he even asked his maid to prepare an outfit for me. It was a white polo long sleeved dress with a beigh gucci belt with white tennis. He knows my fashion very well but I don't really like on brand stuffs.

But what do I expect? He's hella rich! Maybe not as rich as the Vanders but he can be called second.

Pagkatapos kong magbihis and changed my bandage, I heard a knock. And just like what I was expecting, it was Zach. He was waiting for me, I looked away trying to avoid his eyes.

"Amber look, I'm sorr-" Pinutol ko ang sasabihin niya. "Look Zach, can you go to the point? What do yiu want? And you also know a sorry will not change anything".

He sighed before he spoke. "I know how much you cared for your friends" And that was enough to get attention.

"So I want to do you a favor before we leave the country" He said at tinaasan ko siya nang kilay "What favor?".

"I will let you see them for the very last time" He said with a sigh.

"Really?" I said "Yes, but I have rules".

He said and I rolled my eyes, it was expected.

"No physical contact allowed, you are mine and mine alone".

Sinamaan ko siya nang tingin bago nag salita "To clarify some things, I am not yours and I'll never be".

He scoffed and spoke "Your opinion is not needed Hun".

He said and I rolled my eyes, Again.

"Anyways, As I said. No physical contact allowed and don't you dare try to escape, you know what I'm capable of" He continued and he's right. Wala akong laban sa kanya, He is a multi millionaire.

I nodded at him "Let's go, I wanna get this over with" He said and guided me to the van.

"No physical contact okay?" I nodded. I'm too tired to argue, how many times does he has to say that?

I was quiet the whole journey, there were tears in my eyes as I stared at the window, I guess all I can do now is accept the fact that there is no escape.

"Look Amber, I know this is hard for yo- Sh*t!" Hindi natapos ang sasabihin sana ni Zach nang nakarinig kami nang putok ng baril. I screamed in surpise at yumuko para hindi ako matamaan.

"Sh*t! Drive faster!" Zach said sa driver and I couldn't help myself looked at the window of the back of the car hoping for it to be a miracle.

I couldn't help but smile nang nakita ko kung sino yun.
