AMBER'S POV

"Math...?" I asked her the moment I laid us on her. What is she doing here when she claimed to be busy?

And most importantly, anong ginagawa niya dito kasama ang mga Dela Torre's?

"Amber...?"

FLASH BACK

MATH'S POV

"Meet a friend..?" I asked the other line. My "sister" Sapphire.

I'm not bobo, duh, I am a genius, even more than my friend Amber.

I am perfectly aware I am commiting a fraud by telling them ako si "Amber Dela Torre" but I have never craved anything more than a loving family. And now I found one.

The only problem is; it's not mine.

"Mhm, she's a really good friend of ours. She used to take care Papi last summer. Also one of Peyton's childhood friends."

Oh right, Peyton. "My" cousin.

"Uhm, okay, sure. See you in 30?"

To be honest, I feel really bad about lying to everyone like this. But I guess I have to do what I got to do.

I've met the sisters and they were really happy to finally meet me— well their sister— which is clearly not me— they were so happy nag-iyakan pa sila. Ang babait rin nila.

I can't even imagine to break their heart.

As I was getting ready, My phone rang.

Amber calling...

Okay, why does her name have to be Amber? It's making my guilt worse.

"Hello Math...?"

AMBER'S POV

"Math..?"

"...Amber...?"

"Anong ginagawa mo dito?" Tanong ko sa kanya. "Ikaw, anong ginagawa mo o dito?"

"Magkakilala kayo?" Ruby asked.

"Yes, in fact we do. We used to be classmates back in highschool." Sabi ni Math. She spoke confidently but she seems nervous.

Probably because I caught her red handed?

Look, I don't give a shit to whom she hangs out with. And knowing the Dela Torre's, they're friendly as hell so I'm not surprised we would have a mutual friend knowing how many friends they have.
